Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh penurunan hasil Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Angkatan 2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi menjadi guru terhadap hasil PPL Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Angkatan 2015. Metode penelitian ini adalah survei eksplanatori. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 68 Mahasiswa dengan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh dimana semua populasi dijadikan sampel. Dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpul data dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan, yaitu analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) gambaran umum hasil PPL berada pada kategori sangat memuaskan, dan motivasi menjadi guru berada dalam kategori sedang; (2) motivasi menjadi guru berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil PPL. The background of this research is based on economic education pre-service student batch 2015 learning outcomes that decrease compare to the previous batches. This research is aimed to determine the effect of motivation of becoming a teacher towards initial pre-service student learning outcomes. The population in this research were all students from economic education batch 2015 of Indonesia University of Education. By using saturation sampling technique, all population are used as sample with a total of 68 pre-service students as research samples. The method used in this research was explanatory survei, using a questionnaire as the data collection tool and simple regression analysis technique. The result of the study describes that: (1) in general the learning outcomes of the students are excellent, and the motivation of becoming a teacher is in the intermediate category; (2) the motivation of becoming a teacher has a positive and significant effect towards students’ learning outcomes.
