Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar mahasiswa Fakultas Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang menunjukan sebanyak 30,4% mahasiswa belum mencapai standar capaian sebagaimana ditetapkan dalam Standar Mutu UPI 2019 dan Pedoman Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan UPI 2022, dimana UPI menargetkan mahasiswa dengan nilai Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) diatas 3,5. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai pengaruh dari metacognitive awareness terhadap hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel dengan subjek penelitian, mahasiswa FPEB UPI angkatan 2020 dan 2021 sebanyak 300 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan memberikan 51 pertanyaan kepada mahasiswa. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana serta melalui pengujian hipotesis uji t dengan menggunakan bantuan program Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS). Hasil penelitian menunjukan : 1) Tingkat metacognitive awareness berada pada kategori tinggi. Tingkat hasil belajar mahasiswa sebagian besar berada pada kategori pujian/cumlaude, 2) Tingkat metacognitive awareness berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. This research was motivated by the learning outcomes of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, which showed that as many as 30.4% of students had not reached the achievement standards as stipulated in the 2019 UPI Quality Standards and 2022 UPI Education Implementation Guidelines, where UPI targets students with a Grade Point Average (GPA) above 3.5. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the effect of metacognitive awareness on learning outcomes. This study used a sample with research subjects, FPEB UPI students batch 2020 and 2021 as many as 300 respondents. Data collection using questionnaires by giving 51 questions to students. Data analysis using simple linear regression as well as through testing t-test hypotheses using the help of the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) program. The results showed: 1) The level of metacognitive awareness is in the high category. The level of student learning outcomes is mostly in the category of honors / laude, 2) The level of metacognitive awareness affects learning outcomes.
