Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media poster pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam terkait pemahaman dampak pemanasan global siswa. Dilatarbelakangi temuan studi pendahuluan, ada beberapa siswa yang mengalami kesulitan memahami materi Pelajaran IPA adanya keterbatasan guru menggunakan alat bantu mangajar. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen kelompok eksperimen kelompok kontrol. Sampel penelitian 62 siswa dengan kelomok kontrol berjumlah 30 dan kelompok eksperimen 32 siswa, pengumpulan data menggunakan pretest dan posttest. Teknisnya kelompok eksperimen diberikan perlakuan yakni menggunakan media poster pembelajaran IPA sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol tidak diberi perlakuan, hasil test menunjukkan skor pretest kelompok kontrol sebesar 10,27 dan hasil post-test sebesar 10,57 terdapat selisih gain pada kelompok kontrol yakni 0,3. Sedangkan perolehan kelompok eksperimen hasil pretest sebesar 9,84 dan post-test sebesar 11,09 selisih gain kelompok eksperimen yakni 11,09. Berdasarkan nilai gain kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelompok kontrol, artinya bahwa penggunaan media poster pembelajaran berpengaruh meningkatkan pemahaman dampak pemanasan global siswa. This study aims to analyze the influence of natural science learning poster media on students' understanding of the impact of global warming. Against the background of the findings of the preliminary study, there were some students who had difficulty understanding science subject matter due to the limitations of teachers using teaching aids. Quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design of the experimental group control group. The research sample was 62 students with a control group of 30 and an experimental group of 32 students. The data was collected using the pretest and posttest. Technically the experimental group was given treatment using science learning poster media while the control group was not given treatment, the test results showed a pretest score for the control group of 10.27 and a post-test result of 10.57, there was a difference in gain in the control group, namely 0.3. Meanwhile, the pretest results for the experimental group were 9.84 and the post-test was 11.09, the difference in the experimental group's gain was 11.09. Based on the gain value of the experimental group is higher than the control group, meaning that the use of learning poster media has an effect on increasing students' understanding of the impact of global warming.
