Abstract
Pentingnya perkembangan motorik dapat melatih anak untuk terus
berkembang. Salah satunya pada perkambangan motorik halus. Media
playdough adalah media yang dapat menstimulasi kemampuan motorik
halus anak. PAUD BBIS sudah melakukan kegiatan menggunakan
playdough untuk mengembangkan keterampilanmotorik halus. Penelitian
ini bertujuan untuk dideskripsikannya langkah-langkah penggunaan
media playdough untuk mengembangkan keterampilan motorik halus
anak usia 5-6 tahun di PAUD Bina Bangsa Islamic School dan hasil
pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media playdough. Peneliti
menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Partisipasi
penelitian adalah anak kelas B Muharram dan guru kelas. Hasil dari
penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media playdough di kelas B PAUD
BBIS, terdapat terdapat 6 langkah yakni: (1) guru mengidentifikasi
pelajaran, (2) guru menyiapkan playough, (3) guru memperkenalkan
playough, (4) guru Membagi anak menjadi kelompok kecil (5) guru
membagikan adonan, (6) guru mengajak anak membuat bentuk bebas.
Setelah media playdough digunakan, keterampilan motorik halus anak
sudah cukup berkembang dengan baik. Penelitian ini direkomendasikan
bahwa media playdough dapat mengembangkan keterampilan motorik
halus anak.
