Abstract
Perpustakaan sebagai sarana penunjang pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam mendorong minat baca siswa. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor kualitas layanan perpustakaan yang mempengaruhi minat baca siswa, diantaranya Responsiveness (Daya Tanggap), Assurance (Jaminan), Tangibles (Bukti Fisik), Empathy (Empati), dan Reliability (Keandalan). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian ex-post facto melalui pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan perpustakaan secara keseluruhan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat baca siswa di MAN 2 Kota Bandung. Pengaruh ini terlihat dari koefisien determinasi sebesar 28,3%, yang mengindikasikan bahwa kualitas layanan perpustakaan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 28,3% terhadap minat baca siswa. Lebih khusus, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek-aspek kualitas layanan perpustakaan, seperti Responsiveness, Assurance, Tangibles, Empathy, dan Reliability, memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat baca siswa. Responsiveness berkaitan dengan kemampuan perpustakaan merespon kebutuhan pemustaka, Assurance menyangkut jaminan pelayanan yang diberikan, Tangibles mencakup bukti fisik dari layanan, Empathy berkaitan dengan empati pustakawan terhadap pemustaka, dan Reliability berfokus pada keandalan layanan. Kualitas Layanan Perpustakaan pada aspek Responsiveness (Daya Tanggap) memiliki pengaruh signifikan dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 17,9%. Kedua, Kualitas Layanan Perpustakaan pada aspek Assurance (Jaminan) juga memiliki pengaruh signifikan dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 17,5%. Ketiga, Kualitas Layanan Perpustakaan pada aspek Tangibles (Bukti Fisik) memiliki pengaruh signifikan dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 22,5%. Keempat, Kualitas Layanan Perpustakaan pada aspek Emphaty (Empati) memiliki pengaruh signifikan dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 15,5%. Kelima, Kualitas Layanan Perpustakaan pada aspek Reliability (Keandalan) juga memiliki pengaruh signifikan dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 26,2%. Libraries, as educational support facilities, play a crucial role in fostering students' reading interests. This study identifies the factors of library service quality that influence students' reading interests, including Responsiveness, Assurance, Tangibles, Empathy, and Reliability. The research method employed is the ex-post facto research method using a quantitative approach. The results of the study indicate that library service quality as a whole has a positive and significant influence on students' reading interests at MAN 2 Kota Bandung. This influence is evident from the coefficient of determination of 28.3%, indicating that library service quality contributes 28.3% to students' reading interests. Specifically, the research results show that aspects of library service quality, such as Responsiveness, Assurance, Tangibles, Empathy, and Reliability, have a positive and significant influence on students' reading interests. Responsiveness is related to the library's ability to respond to patrons' needs, Assurance involves the assurance of service provided, Tangibles encompass physical evidence of services, Empathy relates to librarians' empathy towards patrons, and Reliability focuses on service reliability. Library Service Quality in terms of Responsiveness has a significant influence with a coefficient of determination of 17.9%. Secondly, Library Service Quality in terms of Assurance also has a significant influence with a coefficient of determination of 17.5%. Thirdly, Library Service Quality in terms of Tangibles has a significant influence with a coefficient of determination of 22.5%. Fourthly, Library Service Quality in terms of Empathy has a significant influence with a coefficient of determination of 15.5%. Fifthly, Library Service Quality in terms of Reliability also has a significant influence with a coefficient of determination of 26.2%.
