Abstract
This research was carried out based on the discovery of problems found in institutions which indicated that human resources were experiencing excessive workload, inappropriate staffing, and understaffing. Therefore the researchers conducted this research with the aim of knowing the suitability of work placements, knowing the description of the level of employee workload, and to find out the effect of the placement of implementing functional employees on the workload of employees at the BBPPMPV BMTI Cimahi. The method of this research is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, and a total sampling technique or the entire population sample, namely 70 Functional Executive employees. Based on the calculation of general trends using the Weight Means Score (WMS), the employee placement variable gets a value of 3.37 and is included in the very good category, and for the workload variable it gets a value of 3.18 and is included in the very good category. The results of hypothesis testing show that the relationship between the two variables is low, with the results of placement of employees having a positive effect of 13.9% and the remaining 86.1% can be influenced by other factors. Furthermore, a significance value of 0.001 <0.05 was obtained and the t value obtained was 3.309 > 1,995. Thus there is a positive significant influence between variable X (Employee Placement) on variable Y (Workload) at BBPPMPV BMTI Cimahi.
