Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan rendahnya hasil belajar di beberapa SMA di wilayah Kota Tangerang. Rendahnya hasil belajar tersebut dilihat dari capaian kognitif pada nilai Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Seiring dengan adanya perkembangan ilmu yang ada peneliti menggunakan variabel moderasi berupa kompetensi guru yang terdiri atas kompetansi profesional dan kompetensi pedagogik. Sehingga, tujuan dilakukanya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kesadaran metakognitif dengan hasil belajar siswa dengan dimoderasi oleh variabel kompetensi guru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 1.026 siswa kelas X IPS SMA Negeri se – Kota Tangerang. Dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling diperoleh sampel siswa sebanyak 288 siswa kelas X IPS SMA Negeri di Kota Tangerang Zona 3. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi korelasional dengan teknik analisis data regresi berganda dengan variabel moderasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) Variabel kesadaran metakognitif memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar. (2) Variabel kompetensi guru memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar. (3) Interaksi variabel kompetensi guru dengan kesadaran metakognitif signifikan. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi guru memoderasi (memperkuat) hubungan kesadaran metakognitif terhadap hasil belajar. This research is motivated by the issue of low learning outcomes in several high schools in the Tangerang City area. The low learning outcomes can be seen from the cognitive achievement in the Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) scores in the 2021/2022 academic year. Along with the development of existing knowledge, researchers use a moderating variable in the form of teacher competence which consists of professional competence and pedagogical competence. So, the purpose of this research is to find out the relationship between metacognitive awareness and student learning outcomes moderated by teacher competency variables. The population in this study amounted to 1.026 students of class X IPS SMA Negeri in Tangerang City. By using a random sampling technique, a sample of 288 students was obtained from class X IPS SMA Negeri in Tangerang City Zone 3. The research method used was a correlational study with multiple regression data analysis techniques with moderating variables. The results of this study indicate that (1) Metacognitive awareness has a positive effect and significant relationship to learning outcome; (2) Teacher competency has a positive effect and significant relationship to learning outcome. (3) The interaction of teacher competency variables with metacognitive awareness is significant. Thus, it can be concluded that teacher competence moderates (strengthnes) of the relationship between metacognitive awareness and learning outcomes.
