Abstract

ABSTRAK PENERAPAN METODE RESITASI DALAM MENINGKATKAN RESPONSIBILITY PESERTA DIDIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS (Studi Deskriptif Kualitatif di Kelas VIII-5 SMP Negeri 3 Bandung) Oleh Anida Faturohman (1607891) Berpijak pada hasil observasi di kelas VIII-5 SMPN 3 Bandung, peneliti menemukan rendahnya responsibility peserta didik sebagai bagian dari kelompok belajar. Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial lahir dan berkembang sebagai sebuah kajian studi yang amat memperhatikan dan mendukung terciptanya perbaikan pada pola perilaku manusia khususnya peserta didik. Metode resitasi menjadi upaya solutif yang perlu diaplikasikan, melalui metode ini dengan waktu yang terbatas serta padatnya materi pelajaran yang harus diperoleh peserta didik, diyakini mampu menjadi alternatif untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran secara maksimal, melalui tugas yang diberikan. Tujuan penelitian kualitatif ialah untuk memahami suatu fenomena social. Untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana perencanaan dan proses penerapan metode resitasi dalam meningkatkan responsibility peserta didik serta melihat bagaimana efektivitas dari aktivitas belajar-mengajar dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas VIII-5, maka peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan model fenomenologis. Melalui teknik pengumpulan data observasi, dokumentasi, serta wawancara mendalam yang ditujukan kepada team teaching dan peserta didik, didapat kesimpulan bahwa dengan dilakukannya analisis situasi, analisis administrasi serta proses perencanaan dan penerapan metode resitasi dalam pembelajaran IPS ditemukan sikap responsibility peserta didik berada pada level 3, yakni meningkatnya responsibility peserta didik kelas VIII-5 yang ditandai oleh adanya rasa hormat dan sikap penuh tanggung jawab, seperti berani mencoba walau menemukan kesulitan, melakukan tugas sesuai apa yang diinstruksikan, menghormati warga sekolah dengan penerapan 5S (salam, senyum, sapa, sopan, dan santun), dan mempertanggung jawabkan hasil kerjanya secara mandiri dan sendiri dengan disimpilin mengumpulkan tugasnya. Kata kunci: pembelajaran IPS, metode resitasi, responsibility peserta didik. ABSTARCT THE APPLICATION OF RESITATION METHOD IN IMPROVING STUDENTS' RESPONSIBILITY IN SOCIAL STUDIES LEARNING (Descriptive Qualitative Study in Class VIII-5 SMP Negeri 3 Bandung) by Anida Faturohman (1607891) Based on the results of observations in class VIII-5 SMPN 3 Bandung, researchers found low responsibility of students as part of the learning group. Social Science was born and developed as a study that is very concerned and supports the creation of improvements in human behaviour patterns, especially students. The resitation method is a solution that needs to be applied, through this method with limited time and the density of subject matter that must be obtained by students, it is believed to be an alternative to achieve maximum learning objectives, through the assignments given. The purpose of qualitative research is to understand a social phenomenon. To describe how the planning and process of applying the resitation method in increasing the responsibility of students and see how the effectiveness of teaching and learning activities in social studies learning in class VIII-5, the researchers used descriptive research methods with phenomenological models. Through data collection techniques of observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews addressed to the teaching team and students, it was concluded that by conducting situation analysis, administrative analysis and the process of planning and implementing the resitation method in social studies learning, it was found that the attitude of responsibility of students was at level 3, namely the increasing responsibility of students in class VIII-5 which was marked by respect and an attitude of full responsibility, such as daring to try even though they found difficulties, doing tasks according to what was instructed, respecting school residents with the application of 5S (senyum, salam, sapa, sopan dan santun), and taking responsibility for their work independently and by themselves with discipline in collecting their assignments.
