Abstract

Masa remaja dalam menghadapi masalah emosi negatif sering kali timbul karena ketidak cocokan stimulus dengan situasi yang diharapkan. Sehingga perlu adanya pengendalian diri bagi remaja terutama dalam pengelolaan emosi negatif. Stoisisme merupakan suatu sistem pemikiran yang memberikan penekanan pada kontrol diri dalam menghadapi emosi yang tidak menyenangkan dengan prinsip dikotomi kendali. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam mengatasi penggambaran masalah tersebut adalah dengan membuat sebuah media edukasi pengelolaan emosi bagi remaja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meracang media edukasi mengenai pengelolaan emosi terutama emosi negatif melalui bacaan Filosofi Stoisisme dengan nama aplikasi “Become Positive”. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang memiliki 6 tahapan yaitu concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar angket validasi dan angket penilaian responden dengan responden yang mencoba media dan memberikan penilaian sebanyak 34 remaja, dengan pengolahan data menggunakan perhitungan skala Likert. Hasil penelitian memperoleh penilaian ahli media sebesar 87%, penilaian dari ahli materi sebesar 67%, dan penilaian oleh responden sebesar 86%. Media edukasi “Become Positive” layak digunakan sebagai media edukasi mengenai pengelolaan emosi bagi remaja. --------------- When facing problems during adolescence, negative emotions often arise due to a mismatch between the stimulus and the expected situation. So there is a need for selfcontrol for teenagers, especially in managing negative emotions. Stoicism is a system of thought that emphasizes self-control in dealing with unpleasant emotions on the principle of the dichotomy of control. Efforts that can be made to overcome the depiction of this problem include creating an educational medium for managing emotions for teenagers. The aim of this research is to design educational media regarding managing emotions, especially negative emotions, through reading the philosophy of Stoicism with the application name "Become Positive". The method used in this research is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which has six stages: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The instruments in this research used a validation questionnaire sheet and a respondent assessment questionnaire with respondents who tried the media and provided assessments for as many as 34 teenagers, with data processing using Likert scale calculations. The results of the study obtained an assessment of media experts by 87%, material experts by 67%, and respondents by 86%. Educational media "Become Positive" is appropriate for use as an educational medium regarding emotional management for adolescents.
