Abstract
Kemampuan berfikir kreatif merupakan salah satu aspek kognitif yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa dalam mempelajari matematika. Kemampuan berfikir kreatif tersebut dipengaruhi oleh banyak hal, dua diantaranya yaitu kemampuan berfikir kreatif dan habits of mind. Keduanya merupakan aspek afektif yang dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa. Untuk lebih membangun kemampuan berfikir kreatif pada kedua aspek, digunakan pendekatan open-ended karena pendekatan ini bersifat terbuka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan habits of mind terhadap kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika yang menerapkan pendekatan open-ended. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian yaitu pre-eksperimen. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari siswa-siswa sekolah menengah di kelas XI sebanyak 30 siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan open-ended. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan non tes, yaitu soal tes kemampuan berfikir kreatif dan angket untuk kecerdasan emosional, habits of mind dan pendekatan open-ended. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan smart PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Kecerdasan emosional tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa; habits of mind tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berfikir kreatif; dan pendekatan open-ended berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berfikir kreatif. The ability to think creatively is one of the cognitive aspects that must be owned by students in learning mathematics. The ability to think creatively is influenced by many things, two of which are the ability to think creatively and habits of mind. Both are affective aspects that can affect students' creative thinking abilities. To further build creative thinking skills in both aspects, an open-ended approach is used because this approach is open. This study aims to determine the influence of emotional intelligence and habits of mind on students' creative thinking abilities in mathematics learning that applies an open-ended approach. The research method used is quantitative research with a pre-experimental research design. The research sample consisted of 30 high school students in class XI who took part in mathematics learning with an open-ended approach. The data collection techniques used were tests and non-tests, namely tests of creative thinking abilities and questionnaires for emotional intelligence, habits of mind and open-ended approaches. The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis using smart PLS. The results of the study show that: Emotional intelligence has no significant effect on students' creative thinking abilities; Habits of mind have no significant effect on the ability to think creatively; and The open-ended approach has a significant effect on the ability to think creatively.
