Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh tidak semua sekolah melaksanakan asesmen kesiapan sekolah untuk siswa baru sehingga guru tidak memiliki data awal mengenai siswa. Hal tersebut dikarenakan biaya asesmen kesiapan sekolah yang tidak sedikit karena harus bekerja sama dengan pihak psikologi. Selain dari itu, asesmen yang sudah ada belum menyesuaikan dengan karakteristik siswa baru yang senang bermain. Upaya mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dilakukan dengan mengembangkan asesmen kesiapan sekolah (SIPOLAH) berbasis game untuk siswa baru kelas I sekolah dasar. Pengembangan ini ditujukan untuk memperoleh penilaian kelayakan sebagai suatu pengembangan dan respon dari penggunaan asesmen berbasis game. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode design and development dengan type product and tools yang di usung oleh Richey & Klein (2014). Hasil uji kelayakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan perhitungan uji validitas menurut Gregory, yang hasil penilaian dari para ahli ditabulasi silang, Adapun hasil keseluruhan uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi, ahli bahasa dan ahli media berada di rentang 0,8 sampai 1 yang artinya validitasnya “Sangat Tinggi”. Hasil rata-rata penilaian respon menggunakan skala likert yaitu pada hasil respon guru adalah 4,75, respon orang tua adalah 4,04 dan respon siswa adalah 4,36 , sehingga hasil keseluruhan responden “Setuju” dengan pernyataan yang di ajukan seputar kelayakan asesmen kesiapan sekolah (SIPOLAH) berbasis game. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa asesmen kesiapan sekolah (SIPOLAH) berbasis game layak digunakan untuk melihat kesiapan sekolah siswa baru kelas I Sekolah Dasar. -------------- The background of this research is that not all schools carry out school readiness assessments for new students so that teachers do not have initial data about students. This is because the cost of assessing school readiness is not small because you have to work together with psychology. Apart from that, existing assessments have not adapted to the characteristics of new students who like to play. Efforts to overcome these problems were carried out by developing a game-based school readiness assessment (SIPOLAH) for new students in class I of elementary school. This development is aimed at obtaining a feasibility assessment as a development and response to the use of game-based assessments. This research uses the design and development method with product types and tools proposed by Richey & Klein (2014). The results of the due diligence in this study used validity test calculations according to Gregory, where the results of the assessments from the experts were cross-tabulated. The overall results of the due diligence by material experts, linguists and media experts were in the range of 0.8 to 1, which means that the validity was "Very High”. The average result of the response assessment using the Likert scale is that the teacher's response was 4.75, the parents' response was 4.04 and the student's response was 4.36, so that the overall results of the respondents "Agreed" with the statements submitted regarding the feasibility of the readiness assessment game-based school (SIPOLAH). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the game-based school readiness assessment (SIPOLAH) is feasible to use to assess the school readiness of new students in grade I Elementary School.
