Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan simulator yang dapat membantu peserta didik SMA dalam memahami konsep hukum Hess. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Developmental Research dengan menerapkan model Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate (ADDIE) untuk tahap pengembangannya. Software pendukung yang digunakan pada proses pengembangan simulator adalah Construct 2 dan Microsoft PowerPoint. Partisipan pada penelitian ini yaitu 3 orang dosen ahli materi dan media sebagai reviewer, 3 orang pendidik mata pelajaran kimia dan 5 orang peserta didik SMA kelas XII yang sudah mempelajari materi hukum Hess sebagai responden. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa karakteristik yang dimiliki simulator ini adalah dapat menggambarkan metode perhitungan hukum Hess melalui simulasi dengan bantuan media pendukung berupa teks dan gambar. Berdasarkan hasil review oleh reviewer, simulator dinyatakan sangat layak dari segi materi dan media, tetapi dengan catatan perbaikan. Sementara itu, berdasarkan hasil penilaian oleh responden, simulator dinyatakan sangat baik dan dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran. This research aims to produce a simulator that can help high school students understand the concept of Hess's law. The research method used is Developmental Research by applying the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) model for the development stage. The supporting software used in the simulator development process is Construct 2 and Microsoft PowerPoint. The participants in this study were 3 material and media expert lecturers as reviewers, 3 chemistry educators and 5 class XII high school students who had studied Hess's law as respondents. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the characteristic of this simulator is that it can describe the method of calculating Hess's law through simulation with the help of supporting media in the form of text and images. Based on the results of the review by the reviewer, the simulator was declared very suitable in terms of material and media, but with a note of improvement. Meanwhile, based on the results of the assessment by respondents, the simulator was stated to be very good and could be implemented in learning.
