Abstract

IMPLEMENTASI APLIKASI CANVA SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH DI SMA LABORATORIUM PERCONTOHAN UPI Afrida Yenni 2110015 Penelitian ini dibuat berdasarkan masalah kurangnya pemanfaatan kemajuan teknologi yang dilakukan oleh guru Sejarah. Pembelajaran Sejarah yang selama ini dianggap sebagai pembelajaran yang membosankan berusaha untuk diatasi oleh Guru Sejarah SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI dengan cara mengemas pembelajaran Sejarah lebih menarik dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran aplikasi Canva. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian Naturalistic Inquiry. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan dan metode tersebut peneliti berusaha mendeskripsikan mengenai proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran Sejarah dengan menggunakan media aplikasi Canva di SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perencanaan pelaksanaan pembelajaran Sejarah di SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI dengan menggunakan media aplikasi Canva dimulai dengan menyusun RPP yang disesuaikan dengan Kompetensi Dasar (KD), Indikator Pencapaian Kompetensi (IPK), tujuan pembelajaran, metode dan pendekatan pembelajaran serta media pembelajaran dengan menggunakan aplikasi Canva, Selama proses pembelajaran Sejarah dengan menggunakan aplikasi Canva terlihat proses pembelajaran berjalan kondusif. Guru terlihat tidak kesulitan dalam menyampaikan materi, kemudian peserta didik juga dapat belajar membuat materi dengan menggunakan aplikasi Canva baik secara mandiri maupun kelompok sehingga proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran tidak selalu terpusat pada guru. Selain keunggulan dalam penggunaannya, Kendala aplikasi Canva adalah tidak selalu aplikatif untuk semua materi Sejarah, sehingga dengan demikian dalam proses pembelajaran diperlukan juga kreativitas guru dalam mengembangkan lebih lanjut untuk menyesuaikan bentuk materi yang cocok dibuat dengan aplikasi Canva, agar menghasilkan materi yang menarik. Peserta didik berpendapat bahwa dengan menggunakan aplikasi Canva membuat materi yang disajikan oleh guru lebih menarik. kemudian dalam pembuatan tugas juga lebih mudah, selain itu dengan menggunakan aplikasi Canva juga dapat membuat mereka lebih mudah dalam melakukan presentasi. Kata kunci: Aplikasi Canva, Media Pembelajaran Sejarah, SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI ABSTRACT IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CANVA APLICATION AS A HISTORY LEARNING MEDIA AT THE UPI PILOT LABORATORY HIGH SCHOOL Afrida Yenni 2110015 This research was made based on the problem of the lack of utilization of technological advances carried out by History teachers. History learning, which so far has been considered a boring lesson, is trying to be overcome by the UPI Pilot Laboratory High School History Teacher by making History learning more interesting by using the Canva application learning media. This study used a qualitative approach with the Naturalistic Inquiry research method. By using these approaches and methods, the researchers tried to describe the process of implementing history learning using the Canva application media at the UPI Pilot Laboratory High School. The results of the study show that planning for the implementation of History learning at the UPI Pilot Laboratory High School using the Canva application media begins with compiling a lesson plan that is adjusted to Basic Competence (KD), Competency Achievement Indicators (GPA), learning objectives, learning methods and approaches and learning media using the application Canva, During the history learning process using the Canva application, it can be seen that the learning process is running conducive. The teacher seems to have no difficulty in conveying the material, then students can also learn to make material using the Canva application both independently and in groups so that the learning process is not always centered on the teacher. In addition to the advantages in its use, the constraints of the Canva application are that it is not always applicable to all historical material, so that in the learning process it is also necessary for the teacher's creativity to develop further to adjust the form of suitable material made with the Canva application, in order to produce interesting material. Students think that using the Canva application makes the material presented by the teacher more interesting. then making assignments is also easier, besides that using the Canva application can also make it easier for them to make presentations.
