Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan literasi
lingkungan dan berpikir kritis siswa menggunakan e-bahan ajar berbasis inkuiri.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain
penelitian Nonequivalent control group design. Sample penelitian ini terdiri dari 2
kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 35 siswa dan kelas kontrol dengan
jumlah 35 siswa. Pada kelas eksperimen, siswa diberikan perlakuan berupa
penerapan e-bahan ajar berbasis inkuiri dan pada kelas kontrol, siswa tidak
diberikan perlakuan, hanya menggunakan bahan ajar berupa buku teks
pembelajaran biologi. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari soal literasi
lingkungan, soal berpikir kritis, dan respon siswa dan guru terhadap e-bahan ajar
berbasis inkuiri setelah proses pembelajaran. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata
nilai literasi lingkungan kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dengan kelas kontrol, dan
untuk hasil berpikir kritis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai kelas eksperimen
lebih tinggi dibandingankan dengan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut,
dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa penerapan e-bahan ajar berbasis inkuiri dapat
meningkatkan kemampuan literasi lingkungan dan berpikir kritis siswa. Temuan
juga didukung dengan hasil angket respon siswa dan guru yang memberikan kesan
positif terhadap penerapan e-bahan ajar berbasis. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan
bahwa penerapan e-bahan ajar berbasis inkuiri materi pencemaran lingkungan
berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi lingkungan dan berpikir
kritis siswa.
This study aims to analyze the increase in students' environmental literacy and
critical thinking skills using inquiry-based e-learning materials. The research
method used is a quasi-experimental research design with Nonequivalent control
group design. The research sample consisted of 2 classes, namely the experimental
class with 35 students and the control class with 35 students. In the experimental
class, students were given treatment in the form of applying inquiry-based elearning
materials and in the control class, students were not given behavior, only
using teaching materials in the form of biology textbooks. The instruments used
consisted of environmental literacy questions, critical thinking questions, and
student and teacher responses to inquiry-based e-teaching materials after the
learning process. The results show that the average environmental literacy value of
the experimental class is higher than that of the control class, and for critical
thinking results indicate that the average value of the experimental class is higher
than that of the control class. Based on these findings, it can be interpreted that the
application of inquiry-based e-learning materials can improve students'
environmental literacy and critical thinking abilities. The findings are also
supported by the results of student and teacher response questionnaires which give
a positive impression of the implementation of e-based teaching materials. So it can
be concluded that the application of inquiry-based e-teaching materials on
environmental pollution has an effect on increasing students' environmental literacy
skills and critical thinking.
