Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan tindak lanjut supervisi akademik terhadap implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Prosedur pengumpulan data penelitian melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan visualisasi NVivo 12. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di tiga sekolah dasar Kecamatan Bandung Kulon telah mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka dengan memperhatikan struktur kurikulum yang digunakan pada fase A di kelas satu dan Fase B di kelas empat. Perencanaan supervisi terdiri dari penyusunan program, penentuan jadwal, instrumen penilaian, dan menyelenggarakan rapat. Pelaksanaan supervisi akademik melibatkan tahap pra observasi, observasi hingga pasca observasi. Pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka mengacu pada capaian pembelajaran, perangkat ajar kurikulum merdeka, Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dan asesmen pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka. Tindak lanjut supervisi mencakup evaluasi hasil supervisi, menindaklanjuti hasil supervisi dan perbedaan supervisi akademik kurikulum merdeka dengan kurikulum 2013. Adapun permasalahan ditemukan dalam penelitian, yaitu kurang kesesuaian format instrumen penilaian supervisi, jadwal serta waktu supervisi kurang optimal, kurangnya komunikasi secara terbuka, sarana pembelajaran kurang memadai, kurangnya pembinaan kepala sekolah kepada guru, dan kurangnya pemahaman pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa program supervisi akademik dalam ketercapaian implementasi kurikulum merdeka belum sepenuhnya terlaksana dengan baik masih memerlukan peningkatan serta perbaikan. Sebagai rekomendasi perbaikan, perlu dilakukan pengembangan instrumen penilaian supervisi, optimalisasi jadwal serta waktu supervisi, peningkatan komunikasi, peningkatan sarana pembelajaran, evaluasi diri kepala sekolah, dan pelatihan serta pembinaan kurikulum merdeka secara intensif. Upaya-upaya ini diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan efektivitas supervisi akademik terhadap implementasi kurikulum merdeka. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation, and follow-up of academic supervision towards the implementation of the independent curriculum. The research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection procedures involve interviews, observations, and documentary studies. The research data analysis employs NVivo 12 for visualization. The research results indicate that in three elementary schools in the Bandung Kulon District, the independent curriculum has been implemented by considering the curriculum structure used in Phase A for first grade and Phase B for fourth grade. The supervision planning consists of program development, schedule determination, assessment instruments, and conducting meetings. The execution of academic supervision involves pre-observation, observation, and post-observation stages. Independent curriculum teaching refers to learning achievements, independent curriculum teaching materials, the Strengthening Student Pancasila Profile Project (P5), and independent curriculum learning assessment. Follow-up of supervision includes evaluating supervision outcomes, addressing supervision results, and differences between academic supervision of the independent curriculum and the 2013 curriculum. The issues identified in the research include a lack of compatibility in the format of supervision assessment instruments, suboptimal scheduling and timing of supervision, inadequate open communication, insufficient learning facilities, insufficient school head guidance for teachers, and a lack of understanding of the independent curriculum teaching. The analysis results show that the academic supervision program in achieving the independent curriculum implementation is not fully carried out well and requires improvement. As recommendations for improvement, there is a need to develop supervision assessment instruments, optimize supervision schedules and timing, enhance communication, improve learning facilities, evaluate school head performance, and provide intensive training and guidance for the independent curriculum. These efforts are expected to help enhance the effectiveness of academic supervision towards independent curriculum implementation.
