Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada banyaknya penggunakan cerita anak untuk melakukan edukasi. Salah satu edukasi yang penting terkait self efficacy. Self efficacy sebaiknya dikenalkan dan ditanamkan sejak usia anak-anak melalui berbagai cara, salah satunya melalui media cerita. Memperhatikan hal tersebut, perlu dilakukan analisis terkait muatan self efficacy dalam cerita. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali muatan self efficacy dalam cerita anak majalah bobo. Cerita anak yang menjadi objek kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah 16 cerita anak yang terdapat dalam majalah bobo tahun 2021-2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis konten dan pendekatan kualitatif dengan hasil analisisnya berupa deskriptif. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui proses pembacaan berulang kemudian mencatat data yang berkaitan dengan aspek self efficacy. Teknik pengolahan data dilakukan dengan mentabulasikan data berdasarkan aspek self efficacy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cerita anak dalam majalah bobo sudah memuat aspek self efficacy yang terdiri atas mastery experience, vicarious learning, verbal persuasion, dan psychological states. Mastery experience digambarkan melalui tokoh yang memiliki sikap mampu percaya diri karena pengalaman individu yang pernah dialaminya. Vicarious learning digambarkan melalui tokoh yang meniru modelnya sebagai acuan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan dirinya. Verbal persuasion ditunjukkan melalui ucapan atau kata-kata positif yang membangun untuk mempengaruhi sesorang supaya termotivasi. Psychological states ditunjukkan melalui sikap tokoh yang menyikapi situasi dan kondisi yang beragam dengan cara yang baik dan positif. Muatan aspek self efficacy yang paling banyak terdapat dalam 16 cerita anak majalah bobo adalah aspek verbal persuasion, dan aspek yang paling sedikit termuat adalah aspek vicarious learning dan psychological states yang mana masing-masing hanya termuat dalam 5 cerita saja. Dengan demikian cerita anak dalam majalah bobo sudah memuat aspek self efficacy. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, 16 cerita anak dalam majalah bobo dapat digunakan untuk melakukan edukasi terkait konsep self efficacy kepada anak. This research is based on the many uses of children's stories for education. One of the important education related to self efficacy. Self efficacy should be introduced and instilled from a young age in various ways, one of which is through the media of stories. Taking this into account, it is necessary to carry out an analysis related to the content of self efficacy in the story. Therefore, this study aims to explore the content of self-efficacy in children's stories from Bobo magazine. The children's stories that are the object of study in this study are 16 children's stories in Bobo magazine for 2021-2022. This study uses content analysis methods and a qualitative approach with the results of the analysis in the form of descriptive. The data collection process was carried out through a process of repeated reading and then recording data related to aspects of self efficacy. Data processing techniques are carried out by tabulating data based on aspects of self efficacy. The results showed that the children's stories in Bobo magazine contained aspects of self efficacy consisting of mastery experience, vicarious learning, verbal persuasion, and psychological states. Mastery experience is described through characters who have an attitude of being able to be confident because of the individual experiences they have experienced. Vicarious learning is described through characters who imitate their models as a reference to increase their self-confidence. Verbal persuasion is shown through constructive positive words or words to influence someone to be motivated. Psychological states are shown through the attitude of the characters who respond to various situations and conditions in a good and positive way. The most abundant aspect of self efficacy in Bobo magazine's 16 children's stories is verbal persuasion, and the least contained are aspects of vicarious learning and psychological states, each of which is only contained in 5 stories. Thus the children's stories in Bobo magazine already contain aspects of self efficacy. Based on these findings, 16 children's stories in Bobo magazine can be used to educate children about the concept of self efficacy.
