Abstract

Penelitian ini mengenai pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi augmented reality dengan tujuan membantu meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan di kelas II SD, pengembangan media pembelajaran diwujudkan dalam bentuk buku Temukan Hewan di Sekitar. Penelitian pengembangan memanfaatkan desain penelitian D&D tipe 1 yang berfokus pada proses perancangan, pengembangan, serta evaluasi produk dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil uji kelayakan dan uji lapangan disajikan dalam bentuk persentase menggunakan rumus perhitungan skala likert dengan kategori presentasi 0-20 (Sangat Tidak Layak), 21-40 (Tidak Layak), 41-60 (Kurang Layak), 61-80 (Layak), dan 81-100 (Sangat Layak). Hasil validasi dari ahli bahasa diperoleh skor 90% (Sangat Layak) dengan indikator validasi yaitu kelugasan, komunikatif, dan kesesuaian bahasa untuk peserta didik kelas II SD, ahli materi 92,5% (Sangat Layak) dengan aspek penilaian berupa kesesuaian isi materi serta efisiensi media untuk proses pembelajaran, dan ahli media 96,4% (Sangat Layak) dengan aspek penilaian berupa kualitas teknis serta kualitas desain media. Sedangkan dari hasil uji lapangan, pengguna media yang dikembangkan memperoleh nilai 95% (Sangat Layak) dari respons guru dengan indikator penilaian kesesuaian materi untuk peserta didik, efisiensi dan usability media, dan 86,3% (Sangat Layak) dari respons peserta didik dengan aspek penilaian berupa kelayakan isi media dan kelayakan medianya sendiri. Bentuk peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan diwujudkan dalam peningkatan kemampuan decoding, peningkatan kemampuan membaca diukur dengan memanfaatkan tiga variabel yaitu, kesadaran fonologis, pengetahuan alfabet, dan kelancaran membaca Dari hasil observasi diperoleh skor 58,7% (Cukup) atas kemampuan membaca permulaan sebelum menggunakan media yang dikembangakan dan 69,3% (Baik) setelah menggunakan media yang dikembangkan. ----- This research is about the development of learning media based on augmented reality technology to help improve early reading skills in grade II elementary school the development of learning media is realized in the form of a "Temukan Hewan di Sekitar" book. The development research utilizes a type 1 D&D research design that focuses on the process of designing, developing, and evaluating products with the ADDIE development model. The results of feasibility tests and field tests are presented in the form of percentages using the Likert scale calculation formula with presentation categories 0-20 (Very Unfit), 21-40 (Unfit), 41-60 (Less Fit), 61-80 (Fit), and 81-100 (Very Fit). The validation results from linguists obtained a score of 90% (Very Feasible) with validation indicators, namely straightforwardness, communicativeness, and suitability of language for grade II elementary school students, material experts 92.5% (Very Feasible) with aspects of assessment in the form of suitability of material content and media efficiency for the learning process, and media experts 96.4% (Very Feasible) with aspects of assessment in the form of technical quality and media design quality. Meanwhile, from the results of the field test, the users of the developed media obtained a score of 95% (Very Feasible) from the teacher's response with the assessment indicators of the suitability of the material for students, the efficiency and usability of the media, and 86.3% (Very Feasible) from the student's response with the assessment aspects of the feasibility of the media content and the feasibility of the media itself. The form of improving the ability to begin reading is realized in the improvement of decoding ability, the improvement of reading ability is measured by utilizing three variables namely, phonological awareness, alphabet knowledge, and reading fluency. From the observation, results obtained a score of 58.7% (Fair) on the ability to begin reading before using the developed media and 69.3% (Good) after using the developed media.
