Abstract
The issue examined in this research focuses on the low ability of employees to manage archives, as reflected in suboptimal achievement of targets, both in terms of quality and quantity. This study aims to determine the influence of Work Experience on Employee's Ability in Managing Archives at the West Java Provincial Social Service. This research employs a quantitative approach using a descriptive method. The sampling technique employed is nonprobability sampling with a saturated or census sample technique. The sample size used in this study is 43 respondents. Data collection is carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert Scale. The research results indicate a positive and significant relationship between Work Experience and Employee's Ability in Managing Archives at the West Java Provincial Social Service. It also reveals the extent to which work experience contributes to the employee's ability in managing archives. Statistical analysis also shows probability values lower than the significance level. These findings contribute to the understanding of the importance of work experience in enhancing employees' ability to manage archives in the environment of the West Java Provincial Social Service.
