Abstract
Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan oleh sektor pendidikan untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Salah satu penerapan teknologi dalam bidang pendidikan adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara bersama guru mata pelajaran IPA SDIT Al-Mumtaz, diketahui bahwa selama pembelajaran materi rotasi dan revolusi Bumi, siswa cenderung sulit membedakan ketiga peristiwa tersebut beserta perbedaan pengaruhnya. Dibutuhkan penguatan visualisasi nyata peristiwa rotasi dan revolusi Bumi berupa media simulasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang media pembelajaran aplikasi animasi 3D interaktif pada materi rotasi dan revolusi Bumi serta mengetahui kelayakannya sebagai media pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Design and Development (D&D) menurut desain model N.J. Manson yang tahapannya dimulai dari kepekaan terhadap masalah, pemberian saran, pengembangan produk, pelaksanaan evaluasi, dan menentukan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini berupa media pembelajaran aplikasi animasi 3D interaktif ROREMI. Aplikasi ROREMI memperoleh hasil uji validasi materi dengan persentase 97,33% dan hasil uji validasi media dengan persentase 90,67% yang berarti masuk ke dalam kategori sangat layak digunakan. Hasil uji coba kepada 21 siswa kelas VI SDIT Al-Mumtaz Cileunyi dan guru mata pelajaran memperoleh persentase penilaian siswa sebesar 93,47% dan persentase penilaian guru sebesar 98,67% dengan kategori sangat layak yang berarti aplikasi animasi 3D intertaktif ROREMI sangat layak digunakan. Aplikasi animasi 3D interaktif ROREMI dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran materi rotasi dan revolusi Bumi serta peristiwa gerhana Bulan dan gerhana Matahari di kelas VI Sekolah Dasar. ------------ The rapid development of technology is important for the education sector to achieve more effective and efficient way to educational goals. One of the applications of technology in the field of education is to develop digital learning media. Based on the results of interviews with science subject teachers at SDIT Al-Mumtaz, it is known that during Earth’s rotation and revolution learning, students tend to find it difficult to differentiate these three events and their different effects. Real visualization of Earth’s rotation and revolution events is needed in the form of simulation media to increase student understanding. This study aims to design an interactive 3D animation application and to determine its feasibility as learning media. The method used in this study is the Design and Development (D&D) method according to the N.J. Manson, whose stages start with awareness of problems, suggestion, product development, evaluation, and conclusion. Based on the test results, the ROREMI application obtained material validation test results with a percentage of 97.33% and media validation test results with a percentage of 90.67%, which means it is categorized as the very feasible category to use. Trials were also carried out on 21 grade VI SDIT Al-Mumtaz Cileunyi students and subject teachers, which resulted percentage of 93.47% in student testing and percentage of 98.67% in teacher testing with a very decent category. The ROREMI application can be used as a Earth's rotation and revolution learning media in grade VI of elementary school.
