Abstract
Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memiliki peran penting dalam mempersiapkan siswa untuk memasuki dunia kerja, terutama dalam bidang-bidang tertentu seperti teknik ketenagalistrikan. SMK Negeri 4 Bandung adalah salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan yang menyediakan program keahlian teknik ketenagalistrikan. Program keahlian TKTL di SMKN 4 Bandung merupakan salah satu program unggulan yang menawarkan beberapa konsentrasi keahlian, yaitu TITL dan TOI. Penentuan konsentrasi keahlian yang akan diambil dilaksanakan ketika siswa tersebut akan memasuki kelas XI. Dalam pemilihan konsentrasi keahlian terdapat dua faktor yang mempengaruhinya yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal merupakan faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri seseorangan sedangkan faktor eksternal merupakan faktor yang berasal dari luar seseorang. Aspek yang mempengaruhi minat siswa dalam memilih konsentrasi keahlian diantaranya minat, bakat, pengaruh oran tua, teman sebaya, guru dan peluang kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat siswa dalam memilih konsentrasi keahlian pada program keahlian TKTL di SMKN 4 Bandung dan untuk mengetahui faktor�faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap minat siswa dalam memilih konsentrasi keahlian pada program keahlian TKTL di SMKN 4 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket untuk mengumpulkan yang melibatkan 66 orang siswa kelas X program keahlian TKTL di SMKN 4 Bandung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa faktor internal yang mempengaruhi minat siswa meliputi aspek minat dan bakat, sedangkan faktor eksternal meliputi aspek pengaruh orang tua, teman sebaya, guru dan peluang kerja. Faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap minat siswa adalah faktor eksternal yaitu aspek peluang kerja dengan kategori sangat tinggi dalam mempengaruhi minat siswa. Vocational High Schools (SMK) have an important role in preparing students to enter the world of work, especially in certain fields such as electricity engineering. SMK Negeri 4 Bandung is one of the Vocational High Schools that provides electrical engineering expertise programs. The TKTL expertise program at SMKN 4 Bandung is one of the leading programs that offers several concentrations of expertise, namely TITL and TOI. The determination of the concentration of expertise to be taken is carried out when the student enters grade XI. In choosing a concentration of expertise, there are two factors that influence it: internal factors and external factors. Internal factors are factors that come from within an individual, while external factors are factors that come from outside a person. Aspects that influence student interest in choosing a concentration of expertise include interest, talent, the influence of parents, peers, teachers, and job opportunities. This study aims to determine the factors that influence student interest in choosing a concentration of expertise in the TKTL expertise program at SMKN 4 Bandung and the factors that have the most influence on student interest in choosing a concentration of expertise in the TKTL expertise program at SMKN 4 Bandung. This research uses descriptive and survey methods with a quantitative approach. The instrument used is a questionnaire to collect data, which involves 66 students of the class X TKTL expertise program at SMKN 4 Bandung. Based on the results of the study, it is found that internal factors that influence student interest include aspects of interest and talent, while external factors include aspects of the influence of parents, peers, teachers, and job opportunities. The most influential factor on student interest is the external factor, namely the employment opportunity aspect, which has a very high category in influencing student interest.
