Abstract

Praktik industri adalah kegiatan pembelajaran yang harus dilaksanakan bagi mahasiswa perguruan tinggi sebagai sarana untuk memperoleh pengalaman dan pengetahuan yang lebih mendalam mengenai bidang pekerjaan yang akan mereka lalui di masa depan. Tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi tingkat capaian pelaksanaan praktik industri program studi pendidikan teknik elektro yang merujuk pada buku pedoman praktik industri Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan evaluasi yang berorientasi pada tujuan atau yang lebih dikenal dengan model Goal Oriented Evaluation, yang dimana evaluasi sebagai proses pengukuran untuk mengetahui sejauh mana tujuan pembelajaran telah tercapai. Responden survey terdiri dari 63 mahasiswa pendidikan teknik elektro yang merupakan angkatan 2019 yang sudah melaksanakan praktik industri. Hasil studi menunjukan berdasarkan buku pedoman praktik industri Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia terdapat lima aspek tujuan dari pelaksanaan praktik industri. Dari keseluruhan aspek tersebut dihasilkan bahwa tujuan praktik industri di program studi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia untuk capaian proses pelaksanaan tersebut sudah tercapai sangat baik. Industrial practice is a learning activity that must be carried out for higher education students as a means of gaining more in-depth experience and knowledge about the field of work they will go through in the future. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the level of achievement of the implementation of industrial practice in the electrical engineering education study program which refers to the industrial practice guidebook of the Department of Electrical Engineering Education, University of Education Indonesia. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative method with a goal-oriented evaluation or better known as the Goal Oriented Evaluation model, where evaluation is a measurement process to determine the extent to which learning objectives have been achieved. Survey respondents consisted of 63 electrical engineering education students who were the 2019 batch who had carried out industrial practices. The study results show that based on the industrial practice guidebook of the Department of Electrical Engineering Education, University of Education Indonesia, there are five aspects of the objectives of implementing industrial practice. From all these aspects, it was found that the objectives of industrial practice in the Electrical Engineering Education study program of the Department of Electrical Engineering Education, University of Education Indonesia for the achievement of the implementation process were very well achieved.
