Abstract

Seseorang yang berminat terhadap profesi guru pada saat sebelum mengajar, harus memiliki keterampilan dasar mengajar. Keterampilan dasar mengajar dapat dilatih sejak bangku perkuliahan salah satunya dengan mengikuti perkuliahan micro teaching yang diselenggarakan oleh universitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perkuliahan micro teaching yang dilaksanakan di program studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan FPTK UPI, untuk mengetahui gambaran minat berprofesi guru mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan angkatan 2019 yang telah menyelesaikan mata kuliah micro teaching, dan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya kontribusi perkuliahan micro teaching terhadap minat berprofesi guru mahasiswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada responden secara online. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji kecenderungan, uji prasyarat analisis yang terdiri dari uji normalitas. Sedangkan uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment, uji t, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkuliahan micro teaching yang dilaksanakan di program studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan FPTK UPI cenderung berada pada kategori “Cukup Baik”, minat berprofesi guru mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan yang telah menyelesaikan mata kuliah micro teaching cenderung berada pada kategori “Sedang”, dan terdapat kontribusi dari perkuliahan micro teaching terhadap minat berprofesi guru. Adapun rekomendasi bagi institusi ataupun dosen agar dapat memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan FPTK UPI untuk melakukan latihan mengajar pada suasana kelas yang berbeda seperti di workshop. Prior to teaching, a person interested in becoming a teacher has to have the basic skills of teaching. One way to learn the basic skills of teaching in college is taking part in university’s micro teaching lectures. This research aims to describe the micro teaching lectures held in Building Engineering Education study program FPTK UPI, to find out the interest in becoming a teacher for students of Building Engineering Education study program class of 2019 who have completed the micro teaching course, and to find out whether there is a contribution to micro teaching lectures on students’ interest in becoming a teacher. This research is a descriptive study with quantitative approach. Using a questionnaire for data collection. An online questionnaire that was used as the research’s instrument. The data analysis technique used is trend test, prerequisite analysis test is normality test. While testing the hypothesis in this research using Pearson Product Moment correlation test, t test, and coefficient of determination. The result showed that micro teaching lectures held in Building Engineering Education study program FPTK UPI tended to be in “Good Enough” category, the interest in becoming a teacher for students of Building Engineering Education study program who had completed micro teaching courses tended to be in “Moderate” category, and there is a contribution from micro teaching lectures to interest in becoming a teacher. As for suggestions for institutions or lectures to be able to give Building Engineering Education study program students the opportunity to take out teaching exercises in various classroom settings, such as in workshops.
