Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam persaingan global. Kunci untuk menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dan siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan dalam era globalisasi ini adalah pendidikan yang berkualitas. Computer Aid Design (CAD) telah menjadi alat yang sangat diperlukan di industri selama beberapa tahun terakhir ini. Pembelajaran berbasis CAD di sekolah memiliki beberapa keterbatasan. Salah satunya adalah kurang memadainya infrastruktur sekolah dan terbatasnya media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana juga membatasi siswa hanya dapat belajar selama proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Melalui penelitian ini, diharapkan akan ada pengembangan media pembelajaran berupa modul yang efektif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi dalam pembelajaran Gambar Teknik Listrik. Metode pada penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif deskriptif dengan model penelitian 4D dimana terdapat empat tahapan yang dilakukan dalam mengembangkan produk yang dibuat. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditinjau dari validasi ahli materi dan ahli media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan validasi kelayakan didapatkan dari ahli materi 1 dengan kategori sangat layak dan ahli materi 2 mendapatkan validasi kelayakan dengan kategori sangat layak. Validasi kelayakan didapatkan dari ahli media 1 yaitu kategori layak dan ahli media 2 mendapatkan validasi kelayakan dengan kategori sangat layak sehingga modul yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil uji respon terbatas untuk mengetahui respon siswa mendapatkan kategori sangat baik. Dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berupa modul Solidwork pada mata pelajaran gambar teknik listrik, siswa lebih mudah memahami tentang materi gambar proyeksi piktorial (3D) menggunakan aplikasi perangkat lunak. Education plays a crucial role in global competition. The key to producing competent human resources prepared to face future challenges in this era of globalization is quality education. Computer-Aided Design (CAD) has become a vital tool in the industry over the past few years. CAD-based learning in schools, however, has some limitations. One of them is the inadequate school infrastructure and limited learning media used. The limitations of facilities and infrastructure also restrict students to only learn during school hours. Through this research, it is expected to develop effective learning media in the form of modules that meet the needs of the students of SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi in learning Electrical Technical Drawing. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with a 4D research model, involving four stages in developing the product. The results of this research are based on the module's feasibility, which is assessed through validation by subject matter experts and media experts. The findings of the research show that the module's feasibility is validated as highly feasible by subject matter expert 1, and highly feasible by subject matter expert 2. Media expert 1 validates the module's feasibility as feasible, while media expert 2 validates it as highly feasible, indicating that the developed module is highly suitable for use as a learning medium. The results of the limited response test, to gauge the students' feedback, show that the module receives an excellent rating. By utilizing the learning media in the form of Solidwork modules for the subject of Electrical Technical Drawing, students find it easier to comprehend the material on pictorial projection drawings (3D) using the software application.
