Abstract

Kondisi fisik dan karakteristik Kecamatan Lembang yang sebagian besar merupakan pegunungan atau perbukitan membuat wilayah di Kecamatan Lembang memiliki potensi mata air tanah yang berlimpah yang tentunya akan sangat menguntungkan masyarakat dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan air bersih dalam menunjang kehidupan sehari-hari. Masalah yang diteliti pada lokasi penelitian yaitu tingkat kualitas air, kuantitas air yang dihasilkan, dan juga persebaran pemanfaatan dari masing-masing mata air dalam memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan menganalisis kualitas dan kuantitas air dari masing-masing mata air dan menganalisis persebaran pemanfaatan mata air yang digunakan masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan akan air. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan melakukan survey dan wawancara. Sampel yang diambil oleh peneliti berada di 13 desa di Kecamatan Lembang dengan total 17 mata air tertampung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kualitas dan kuantitas air dari masing-masing mata air layak konsumsi dan memenuhi kebutuhan air masyarakat yang berkisar antara 80 – 150 liter/orang/hari. Persebaran pemanfaatan mata air ini dimulai dari skala kecil yang hanya digunakan oleh satu rumah hingga skala besar untuk mengairi pertanian dan kebutuhan domestic masyarakat dalam kawasan RW. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini bagi masyarakat dan pemerintah desa sebaiknya memanfaatkan potensi mata air secara maksimal dan melakukan pengelolaan agar mata air yang ada dapat terjaga dengan baik dan digunakan secara berkelanjutan. The physical conditions and characteristics of the Lembang Subdistrict, which are mostly mountains or hills, make the area in the Lembang Subdistrict have the potential for abundant groundwater springs which will certainly greatly benefit the community in fulfilling their needs for clean water to support their daily lives. The problems studied at the research location were the level of water quality, the quantity of water produced, and also the distribution of utilization of each spring in meeting the community's clean water needs. This study aims to measure and analyze the quality and quantity of water from each spring and analyze the distribution of the use of springs used by the community to meet the need for water. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach. Data was collected by conducting surveys and interviews. The samples taken by the researchers were in 13 villages in the Lembang District with a total of 17 collected springs. The results showed that the quality and quantity of water from each spring was suitable for consumption and met the community's water needs ranging from 80 – 150 liters/person/day. The spread of the use of these springs starts from a small scale which is only used by one house to a large scale for irrigating agriculture and the domestic needs of the community in the RW area. Recommendations from this research for the community and village government should make maximum use of the potential of springs and carry out management so that existing springs can be properly maintained and used sustainably.
