Abstract

Fisika merupakan salah satu ilmu yang sering dianggap sulit oleh siswa dan menyebabkan rendahnya prestasi belajar fisika. Salah satu penyebab rendahnya prestasi belajar ialah faktor internal yang muncul dari dalam diri siswa tersebut, sehingga diperlukan strategi dengan pendekatan self-regulated atau regulasi diri seperti Self-Regulated Approach to Strategic Learning (SRSL) APICPEM agar siswa dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik dirinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan Self-Regulated Approach to Strategic Learning (SRSL) APICPEM terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada materi gelombang bunyi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMA di Bandung dengan sampel sebanyak 72 siswa. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan ialah metode campuran dengan desain campuran tidak berimbang (concurrent embedded design). Data kuantitatif dikumpulkan melalui nonequivalent (posttest only) control group design dengan menggunakan instrumen posttest prestasi belajar materi gelombang bunyi. Kemudian data kualitatif sebagai pendukung dikumpulkan melalui kualitatif naratif dengan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner campuran SRSL APICPEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterlaksanaan SRSL APICPEM di kelas eksperimen berlangsung dengan sangat baik, dengan pemilihan strategi belajar siswa yang beragam sesuai dengan karakteristik serta berbagai faktor lain baik faktor internal dan eksternal siswa. Serta terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan SRSL APICPEM terhadap prestasi belajar dengan efektivitas pengaruhnya yang tergolong sangat tinggi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mampu membuktikan bahwa penerapan SRSL APICPEM mampu meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada materi gelombang bunyi. Physics is a science that is often considered difficult by students and causes low physics learning achievement. One of the causes of low learning achievement is internal factors that arise from within the student, so a strategy with a self-regulated approach is needed such as the Self-Regulated Approach to Strategic Learning (SRSL) APICPEM so that students can carry out learning according to their needs and characteristics. This study aims to determine the application of Self-Regulated Approach to Strategic Learning (SRSL) APICPEM's on student achievement in sound wave material. This research was conducted at a high school in Bandung with a sample of 72 students. The research method used is a mixed method with an unbalanced mixed design (concurrent embedded design). Quantitative data were collected through nonequivalent (posttest only) control group design using the posttest instrument for learning achievement in sound waves. Then qualitative data as a support was collected through narrative qualitative using a SRSL APICPEM mixed questionnaire instrument. The results showed that the implementation of APICPEM SRSL in the experimental class went very well, with the selection of various student learning strategies according to the characteristics and various other factors, both internal and external factors of students. As well as there is a significant influence from the implementation of SRSL APICPEM on learning achievement with the effectiveness of its influence which is classified as very high. Therefore, this study was able to prove that the application of SRSL APICPEM was able to improve student achievement in sound wave material.
