Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi penggunaan model Cooperative Script dalam pembelajaran teks prosedur di kelas IV SDN 1 Slinga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan sebanyak 31 dengan menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling jenis sampel jenuh, di mana semua populasi digunakan menjadi sampel. Penelitian ini melibatkan pelaksanaan beberapa tahap, memberikan pretest sebelum diberikan treatment, penentuan materi pembelajaran teks prosedur, pengembangan model Cooperative Script, melakukan posttest, dan menganalisis pretest dan postest. Selama proses pembelajaran, data dikumpulkan melalui tes pra-pembelajaran dan tes pasca-pembelajaran untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang teks prosedur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model Cooperative Script secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam pembelajaran teks prosedur. Dari sampel penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih baik dalam pencapaian nilai tes yang menunjukkan bahwa model Cooperative Script efektif dalam membantu siswa memahami teks prosedur dengan lebih baik. Dalam kesimpulannya, penggunaan model Cooperative Script dalam pembelajaran teks prosedur di kelas IV SDN 1 Slinga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa guru dan pendidik dapat mempertimbangkan penggunaan model Cooperative Script sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam memfasilitasi pemahaman siswa terhadap teks prosedur. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menunjukkan pentingnya penerapan metode pembelajaran yang beragam dan inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. This research aims to investigate the use of the Cooperative Script model in teaching procedural texts to fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Slinga. The study employs an experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The sample consists of 31 participants, selected using a non-probability sampling technique known as saturated sampling, where the entire population is included as the sample. The research involves several stages, including conducting a pretest before administering the treatment, determining the procedural text material for teaching, developing the Cooperative Script model, conducting a posttest, and analyzing the pretest and posttest data. Throughout the teaching process, data is collected through pretest and posttest assessments to measure students' improvement in understanding procedural texts. The results of the study demonstrate that the use of the Cooperative Script model significantly enhances students' comprehension of procedural texts. The research sample exhibits better performance in the posttest scores, indicating the effectiveness of the Cooperative Script model in helping students better understand procedural texts. In conclusion, the utilization of the Cooperative Script model in teaching procedural texts to fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Slinga improves students' comprehension. The implications of this study suggest that teachers and educators can consider the use of the Cooperative Script model as an effective instructional strategy to facilitate students' understanding of procedural texts. Furthermore, the research highlights the importance of implementing diverse and innovative teaching methods to enhance the quality of classroom learning.
