Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh lemahnya kemandirian peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan hal tersebut adalah proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan menggunakan metode ceramah, berpusat pada peserta didik, dan hanya menggunakan bahan ajar yang disediakan di sekolah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat beberapa kekurangan dari bahan ajar, seperti sulit untuk dibawa karena ukurannya yang besar dan tebal serta terdapat materi yang kurang sesuai dengan capaian pembelajaran. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut peneliti mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa e-modul berbasis active learning yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan model penelitian planning, production and evaluation (PPE) yang dikembangkan oleh Richey and Klein. Pada tahapan planning (perencanaan) dilakukan proses analisis materi, pembuatan blue print, penyusunan naskah e-modul dan membuat rancangan awal e-modul. Pada tahap production (produksi) dilakukan pembuatan e-modul. Pada tahap evalation (evaluasi) dilakukan validasi oleh para ahli dan uji coba terbatas kepada peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa e-modul berbasis active learning memiliki nilai 93% dari ahli materi, 96% dari ahli media, 90% dari ahli bahasa dan 98% dari ahli pembelajaran. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul berbasis active learning mendapatkan kategori sangat baik dengan rata – rata nilai 94%. Hasil uji coba terbatas menunjukkan bahwa keempat indikator kemandirian telah muncul pada sebagian besar peserta didik selama menggunakan e-modul berbasis active learning dalam proses pembelajaran. This research is motivated by the weak independence of students in the learning process. Some of the factors that cause this are the learning process carried out using the lecture method, student-centered, and only using teaching materials provided at school. The results of the analysis show that there are several shortcomings of teaching materials, such as being difficult to carry because of its large and thick size and there is material that is not in accordance with the learning outcomes. Based on these problems, researchers developed teaching materials in the form of active learning-based e-modules that can be used in the learning process. The method used in this research is the Design and Development (D&D) method with the planning, production and evaluation (PPE) research model developed by Richey and Klein. At the planning stage, the process of analyzing the material, making blue prints, preparing e-module scripts and making initial e-module designs is carried out. At the production stage, the e-module was made. At the evaluation stage, validation by experts and limited trials for grade IV elementary school students are carried out. The results of expert validation show that e-modules based on active learning have a value of 93% from material experts, 96% from media experts, 90% from linguists and 98% from learning experts. So it can be concluded that e-modules based on active learning get a very good category with an average value of 94%. The results of the limited trial showed that the four indicators of independence had appeared in most students while using active learning-based e-modules in the learning process.
