Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan siswa dalam hasil belajar yang belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) dalam pembelajaran IPS. Hal ini terjadi karena dalam proses pembelajaran, guru belum menggunakan model yang bervariasi dan juga dikarenakan siswa yang masih belum berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran, hal ini mengakitbatkan kesulitnya dalam menghafal maupun mengingat pembelajaran. Solusi untuk memcahkan masalah tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe make a match, Penelitian ini bertjuan untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe make a match. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan model spiral Kemmis dan Mc Taggart, yang terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklus ada beberapa tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan juga observasi, dan data penelitian ini disajikan dalam bentuk gambar, tabel, dan diagram. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 2 Sindangkasih yang berjumlah 28 siswa ,15 siswa perempuan dan 13 siswa laki-laki. Hasil dari penelitian menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe make a match dalam setiap siklusnya menunjukan peningkatan. Dapat dilihat dari presentase sebagai berikut yaitu aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebesar 75% dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II sebesar 91%, Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 65,8% dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II sebesar 87,14%, hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata 6,64% dan pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan niali rata-rata 82,6% Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan model cooperative learning tipe make a match dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa, dan juga hasil belajar siswa.------This research is motivated by the problem of students in learning outcomes that have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) in social studies learning. This happens because in the learning process, the teacher has not used a varied model and also because students who still do not play an active role in learning, this makes it difficult to memorize or remember learning. The solution to solve the problem is to apply the cooperative learning model type make a match, this research aims to improve the learning process and increase teacher activity, student activity, and student learning outcomes by applying the cooperative learning model type make a match. This research method uses classroom action research (PTK) method with Kemmis and Mc Taggart spiral model, which consists of two cycles, each cycle has several stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research instrument uses tests and observations, and the data is presented in the form of figures, tables, and diagrams. The subjects of this study were grade V students of SDN 2 Sindangkasih, totaling 28 students, 15 female students and 13 male students. The results of the research using the cooperative learning model type make a match in each cycle showed an increase. It can be seen from the following percentages, namely teacher activity in cycle I of 75% and increased in cycle II of 91%, The results of observations of student activity in cycle I amounted to 65.8% and increased in cycle II by 87.14%, student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average score of 6.64% and in cycle II student learning outcomes increased by an average score of 82.6% It can be concluded that with the cooperative learning model type make a match can increase student activity, and also student learning outcomes.
