    Abstract

    Pendidikan seni merupakan salah satu bidang yang penting dalam pengemabangan kreativitas dan ekspresi siswa. Dalam pendidikan seni terdapat bidang seni musik yang dipelajari siswa sekolah dasar pada kurikulum merdeka. Pengembangan media pembelajaran dalam seni musik masih kurang efektif dengan keterbatasan kemampuan guru dan ketersediaan fasilitas yang tidak menunjang kebutuhan terutama dalam menjelaskan materi mengenai notasi balok. Peran guru dalam memilih media dalam pembelajaran musik menjadi hal penting agar pembelajran menjadi lebih bermakna. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam memahami notasi balok dan keterampilan sight reading baik sebelum dan setelah menggunakan aplikasi Sibelius, serta untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap notasi balok dan keterampilan sight reading siswa setelah menggunakan aplikasi Sibelius. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dengan desain pre eksperimen one group pretest dan posttest. Porses penelitian dilakukan di SDN 2 Sukasenang dengan sampel sebanyak 23 siswa. Hasil penelitain dianalisis dengan teknik analisis statistic deskriptif dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS. Data diolah melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji wilcoxon, uji t dan uji N-Gain. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, diperoleh nilai pretest siswa terhadap pemahaman materi notasi sebesar 26,87 dan untuk pretest keterampilan sight reading sebesar 11,70. Hasil rata-rata nilai posttest siswa terhadap materi notasi balok setelah mendapatkan perlakuan pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi Sibelius sebesar 87,61 dan untuk rata-rata nilai posttest sebesar 28,78 yang artinya terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa setelah mendapatkan perlakuan berupa pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi Sibelius.

    Art education is an important field in developing students' creativity and expression. In art
    education there is the field of music which is studied by elementary school students in the
    independent curriculum. The development of learning media in the art of music is still
    ineffective due to the limited ability of teachers and the availability of facilities that do not
    support needs, especially in explaining material regarding block notation. The role of the
    teacher in choosing media in music learning is important so that learning becomes more
    meaningful. The purpose of this study was to determine students' ability to understand block
    notation and sightreading skills both before and after using the Sibelius application, as
    well as to determine the increase in students' understanding of block notation and
    sightreading skills of students after using the Sibelius application. This research is a
    quantitative research with an experimental method with a one group pretest and posttest
    pre-experimental design. The research process was conducted at SDN 2 Sukasuka with a
    sample of 23 students. The research results were analyzed using descriptive statistical
    analysis techniques with the help of the SPSS application. The data were processed through
    the normality test, homogeneity test, Wilcoxon test, t test and N-Gain test. Based on the test
    results, the students' pretest scores for comprehension of notation material were 26.87 and
    for the sightreading skill pretest was 11.70. The average result of students' posttest scores
    on block notation material after receiving the learning treatment using the Sibelius
    application was 87.61 and for the average posttest score of 28.78, which means that there
    was a significant increase in students' knowledge and skills after receiving treatment in the
    form of learning using Sibelius app.
