Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh konjektur antara adversity quotient (AQ) siswa yang meliputi climbers, campers, dan quitters dengan kemampuan berpikir komputasi siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan matematika pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel (SPLDV). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain case study berperspektif grounded theory. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 6 siswa kelas 8 di salah satu SMP Negeri di Cimahi, yaitu dua siswa tipe quitters, dua siswa tipe campers, dan dua siswa tipe climbers. Untuk menganalisis data yang telah diperoleh dari hasil tes dan wawancara dengan siswa, digunakan alat bantu yaitu software NVivo 14 trial version. Diperoleh 8 kategori yang ada dalam 4 komponen berpikir komputasi (dekomposisi masalah, pengenalan pola, abstraksi dan generalisasi, serta berpikir algoritma), yaitu mengidentifikasi masalah, membuat model matematika, mengidentifikasi pola, menentukan pola, mengidentifikasi karakteristik, merumuskan alternatif solusi, langkah-langkah penyelesaian, dan menulis konklusi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh 3 konjektur berikut: Siswa quitters memenuhi 5 kategori, yaitu: mengidentifikasi masalah, membuat model matematika, mengidentifikasi pola, menyusun langkah-langkah penyelesaian, dan menulis konklusi. Siswa campers memenuhi 6 kategori, yaitu: mengidentifikasi masalah, membuat model matematika, mengidentifikasi pola, mengidentifikasi karakteristik, merumuskan alternatif solusi, dan menyusun langkah-langkah penyelesaian. Siswa climbers memenuhi 7 kategori, yaitu: mengidentifikasi masalah, membuat model matematika, mengidentifikasi pola, menentukan pola, mengidentifikasi karakteristik, merumuskan alternatif solusi, dan menyusun langkah-langkah penyelesaian. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi hasil tes tersebut adalah karakteristik setiap tipe adversity quotient. This study aims to obtain the conjectures between students' adversity quotient (AQ) which includes: climbers, campers, and quitters and students' computational thinking abilities in solving mathematical problems on Linear Equations System with Two Variables. The method used in this study is qualitative research with a case study design and grounded theory perspective. The subjects in this study were six grade 8 students from a public junior high school in Cimahi, especially two quitters, two campers, and two climbers. To analyze the data that has been obtained from the results of tests and interviews with students, this study used NVivo 14 trial version software. There are 8 categories in 4 components of computational thinking (problem decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction and generalization, and algorithmic thinking), which are: identifying problems, creating mathematical models, identifying patterns, identifying characteristics, formulating alternative solutions, compiling steps for completion, and write conclusions. From the results of the analysis, the following 3 conjectures were obtained: Quitters fulfilled 5 categories, which are: identifying problems, making mathematical models, identifying patterns, compiling steps for completion, and writing conclusions. Campers fulfilled 6 categories, which are: identifying problems, making mathematical models, identifying patterns, identifying characteristics, formulating alternative solutions, and compiling steps for completion. Climbers fulfilled 7 categories, which are: identifying problems, making mathematical models, identifying patterns, determining patterns, identifying characteristics, formulating alternative solutions, and compiling steps for completion. One of the factors that can affect the results was the characteristics of each type of adversity quotient.
