Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran talking stick terhadap hasil belajar IPS peserta didik SDN 01 Nagarasari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis Penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu penelitian quasi eksperimen. Instrumen yang dahdigunakan adalah pre-test dan post-test.berupa pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 soal mengacu pada hasil belajar peserta didik sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil analisis data nilai kedua kelas dihitung secara statistik data kedua kelas tersebut berdistribusi normal dan homogen, dilanjutkan dengan uji n-gain dan uji T dengan menggunakan independent sample t-test. Nilai rata-rata N- Gain score untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 68,08 atau 68% termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif. Sementara untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 41,85 atau 42% termasuk dalam kategori kurang efektif. untuk uji T menggunakan indpenden sample t-tes, hasil analisis pada uji-t diperoleh mean pada kelas eksperimen 80,00 dan kelas kontrol 69,17 dengan sig.2 tailed sebesar 0,04. hal ini menunjukan bahwa Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak, dengan diperolehnya sig.2 tailed < 0,05 yaitu 0,04. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPS dengan model pembelajaran talking stick dengan model pembelajaran yang konvensional. This study aims to determine the influence of the Talking Stick learning model on the learning outcomes of Social Studies (IPS) of students at SDN 01 Nagarasari. This research adopts a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design. The instruments used are pre-test and post-test in the form of 20 multiple-choice questions based on the learning outcomes of elementary school students. The results of this study indicate that the analysis of the data values for both classes is statistically normal and homogenous. This is followed by an n-gain test and independent sample t-test. The average N-Gain score for the experimental class is 68.08 or 68%, which falls into the category of moderately effective. Meanwhile, for the control class, it is 41.85 or 42%, falling into the category of less effective. In the independent sample t-test, the analysis shows a mean of 80.00 for the experimental class and 69.17 for the control class, with a two-tailed significance value of 0.04. This indicates that the null hypothesis (Ho) is accepted and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is rejected, as the obtained two-tailed significance value is less than 0.05 (0.04). In conclusion, there is a difference in the learning outcomes of students in IPS when using the talking stick learning model compared to the conventional learning model.
