Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kondisi hasil belajar siswa disinyalir berbeda-beda namun masih terdapat siswa yang memiliki hasil belajar dengan kategori rendah. Hal ini dikarenakan terdapat berbagai faktor yang dapat memengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis quasi eskperimen. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah pretest dan posttest. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair and Share terhadap hasil belajar PKn siswa sekolah dasar, (2) seberapa efektif pembelajaran PKn setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Think Pair and Share. Model yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran yaitu Think Pair and Share dengan metode penelitian Eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair and Share terhadap hasil belajar PKn sebesar 16.6% dengan perlakuan yang diberikan selama 3 kali pertemuan menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Pair and Share. (2) Efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Pair and Share terhadap hasil belajar ini pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 66.3% dan kelas kontrol sebesar 59% termasuk kategori cukup efektif untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran. Guru dan siswa dapat melakukan proses pembelajaran yang sesuai, menarik, menyenangkan dan penuh keakraban sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair and Share ini dapat dilakukan pada saat proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Keberagaman Sosial Budaya Masyarakat. ----- This research was motivated by the condition of student learning outcomes allegedly different, but there are still students who have low learning outcomes. This is because ther are various factors that can affect student learning outcomes, This study used quantitave methods with quasi experimental types. The instruments of this study are pretest and posttest. This study aims to dercribe: (1) the effect of the Think Pair and Share type cooperative learning model on the Civics learning outcomes of emelentary school students, (2) how effective civics learning is after applying the Thik Pair and Share learning model. The model used in learning is Think Pair and Share with the Experimental research method. The results shows that: (1) the effect of the Think Pair and Share type cooperative learning model on civics learning outcomes was 16.6% with treatment guven for 3 meetings using the Think Pair and Share learning model. (2) The effectiveness of using the Think Pair and Share learning model on these learning outcomes in the experimental class by 66,3% and the control class by 59% is categorized as effective enough to be used in the learning process. Teachers and students can carry out the learning process that is appropriate, interesting, fun and full of familiarity so that it can be concluded that this Think Pair and Share type cooperative learning model can be carried out during the learning process in the subjects of community socio-cultural diversity.
