Abstract

PENGGUNAAN MODEL MAKE A MATCH BERBANTUAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN FLASHCARD UNTUL MENGATASI KESULITAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN PADA SISWA KELAS 1 DI SEKOLAH DASAR (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas di Kelas 1 untuk Mengatasi Kesulitan Membaca di UPTD SDN 8 Nagri Kaler) oleh Erta Alvani NIM. 1908778 ABSTRAK Salah satu kemampuan yang harus dikuasai dalam membaca adalah kemampuan membaca permulaan. Berdasarkan hasil data yang didapatkan sebelum dilakukan penelitian yang diperoleh dari guru dan siswa kelas I UPTD SDN 8 Nagrikaler, bahwa kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa tergolong rendah. Maka peneliti mencoba menggunakan model make a match berbantuan media pembelajaran flashcard dengan tujuan untuk dapat meningkatkan kesulitan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas I. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain penelitian Kurt Lewin melalui 2 siklus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di UPTD SDN 8 Nagrikaler dengan subjek penelitian 26 siswa. Terdapat peningkatan pada kemampuan membaca permulaan pada siswa setelah diterapkannya model make a match berbantuan media pembelajaran flashcard. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh hasil aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Rata-rata hasil belajar kemampuan membaca permulaan pada siklus I diperoleh 70% dan siswa masih ada yang belum memperoleh nilai tuntas KKM. Siklus II diperoleh nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 92% dengan jumlah siswa tuntas sebanyak 24 siswa. Dengan demikian penggunaan model make a match berbantuan media pembelajaran flashacrd dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas I Sekolah Dasar. Kata Kunci: Make a Macth, Membaca Permulaan, Flashcard ----- USING THE MAKE A MATCH MODEL WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF FLASHCARD LEARNING MEDIA TO OVERCOME BEGINNING READING DIFFICULTIES IN 1ST GRADE STUDENTS AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (Classroom Action Research in Grade 1 for Overcoming Reading Difficulties at UPTD SDN 8 Nagri Kaler) by Erta Alvani NIM. 1908778 ABSTRACT One of the skills that must be mastered in reading is initial reading ability. Based on the results of the data obtained before the research was carried out obtained from teachers and first grade students of UPTD SDN 8 Nagrikaler, that students' initial reading ability was relatively low. So the researchers tried to apply the make a match model with the help of flashcard learning media with the aim of increasing the difficulty of beginning reading in grade I students. This research was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with Kurt Lewin's research design through 2 cycles. This research was conducted at UPTD SDN 8 Nagrikaler with 26 students as research subjects. There was an increase in students' initial reading ability after applying the make a match model assisted by flashcard learning media. This is shown by the results of activities and student learning outcomes. The average learning result for beginning reading skills in cycle I was 70% and there were still students who had not obtained a complete KKM score. Cycle II obtained an average value increased to 92% with the number of students completing as many as 24 students. Thus the use of the make a match model assisted by flashcard learning media can improve the beginning reading ability of first grade elementary school students.
