Abstract

Pembelajaran abad 21 dengan adanya era revolusi industri 4.0 membuat banyak perubahan bahkan perubahan pada bidang pendidikan, pendidikan pada era sekarang diharapkan siswa memiliki kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi yaitu salah satunya kemampuan berpikir kritis. Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran muatan IPA dengan materi panas dan perpindahannya menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan video interaktif. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas V SDN Bojongloa Kecamatan Kasomalang Kabupaten Subang dengan jumlah siswa 25 orang yang diantaranya 8 siswa laki-laki dan 17 siswi perempuan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) sebanyak dua siklus dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan tes. Instrumen pengumpulan data diantaranya berupa pedoman lembar observasi guru, pedoman lembar observasi siswa dan pedoman lembar tes. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil presentase ketuntasan belajar pada pra siklus 32% meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 72% dan meningkat kembali pada siklus II menjadi 88%. Adapun nilai rata-rata kelas pada pra siklus 52,4 meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 69,2 dan meningkat kembali pada siklus II menjadi 84,4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan video interaktif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi panas dan perpindahannya di kelas V SDN Bojongloa. ----- 21st century learning with the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 made many changes and even changes in the field of education, education in the current era is expected for students to have high-level thinking skills, one of which is critical thinking skills. The low ability to think critically in science content learning with hot material and its transfer is the background of this research. This study aims to determine the increase in students' critical thinking skills by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by interactive videos. This research was conducted in class V SDN Bojongloa, Kasomalang District, Subang Regency with a total of 25 students, of which 8 male students and 17 female students. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) in two cycles with data collection techniques through observation and tests. The data collection instruments included teacher observation sheet guidelines, student observation sheet guidelines and test sheet guidelines. This is indicated by the results of the percentage of learning completeness in the pre-cycle of 32% increasing in cycle I to 72% and increasing again in cycle II to 88%. The class average value in the pre-cycle of 52.4 increased in cycle I to 69.2 and increased again in cycle II to 84.4. The results showed that applying the interactive video-assisted Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model could improve students' critical thinking skills on kalor and movement and its transfer in class V SDN Bojongloa.
