Abstract

Keterampilan proses sains sangat penting dimiliki siswa karena keterampilan ini dapat mendorong siswa dalam mengonstruk pengetahuannya sendiri, namun pada kenyataannya keterampilan proses sains siswa masih rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan yang signifikan terkait keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas V antara model pembelajaran AMORA dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode yang digunakan adalah metode quasi eksperimen dengan pretest-posttest control grup desain. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V tahun ajaran 2022-2023 di SDN LS1 Kecamatan Lembang, Kabupaten Bandung Barat dengan sampel 51 siswa. Data yang terkumpul olah menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel dan SPSS 25.0 for windows. Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh data bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan keterampilan proses sains yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil rata-rata pretest dan posttest pada kelas eksperimen meningkat sebesar 28,53% dan sebesar 19,04% pada kelas kontrol. Peningkatan nilai rata-rata N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,56 yang menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kategori sedang dan 0,38 pada kelas kontrol yang menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kategori sedang. Kedua kelas berada dalam kategori peningkatan sedang, namun terdapat perbedaan peningkatan yang siginifikan diperoleh dari nilai siginifikan N-Gain sebesar 0,001. Sehingga berdasarkan hasil temuan di lapangan peneliti menyimpulkan peningkatan keterampilan proses sains pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol. Process science skills are very important for students because these skills can encourage students to construct their own knowledge, but in reality students' process science skills are still low. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in significant improvement related to science process skills of grade V students between the AMORA learning model and the cooperative learning model. This research is a quantitative research with the method used is a quasi-experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. The sample of this study was grade V students for the 2022-2023 school year at SDN LS1 Lembang District, West Bandung Regency with a sample of 51 students. The collected data is processed using Microsoft Excel application and SPSS 25.0 for windows. The results of the study obtained data that there was a significant difference in improving science process skills between the experimental class and the control class. The average pretest and posttest results in the experimental class increased by 28.53% and by 19.04% in the control class. An increase in the average N-Gain value in the experimental class of 0.56 indicating an increase in the moderate category and 0.38 in the control class indicating an increase in the moderate category. Both classes are in the moderate improvement category, but there is a significant difference in increase obtained from the N-Gain significant value of 0.001. So based on the findings in the field, researchers concluded that the improvement of science process skills in the experimental class was higher than in the control class.
