Abstract
Video game secara teknis merupakan sebuah produk yang dibangun oleh serangkaian logika-logika yang dapat digunakan sebagai media edukasi, simulasi dan hiburan. Perkembangan game saat ini melahirkan sejumlah genre game yang menarik para pemain. Game memiliki potensi dapat mempengaruhi moralitas pemain dalam jangka pendek saja sehingga game dapat dijadikan media penyampaian pesan moral. Pada saat ini kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan masih kurang. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan suatu media yang mengedukasi masyarakat terkait kesadaran lingkungan. Media yang ditawarkan pada penelitian ini adalah sebuah game yang dapat memberikan edukasi kepada pengguna terkait dengan kebersihan lingkungan menggunakan model MDA framework. Framework ini digunakan dalam proses perancangan game dimana terbagi menjadi tiga bagian yaitu Mechanic, Dynamic dan Aesthetic. Proses pengembangan game pada penelitian ini menerapkan model iterative with rapid prototyping yang memiliki fase perancangan dan implementasi. Game yang dikembangkan dilakukan pengujian menggunakan game experience questionnaire dengan mendapatkan nilai tertinggi pada aspek flow dengan persentase 88% dan nilai terkecil pada aspek negative affect sebesar 5%. Game Zero Blade Rising dapat mengubah moralitas pemain sesaat, hal ini dibuktikan dengan tingginya nilai aspek sensory and imaginative immersion sebesar 76% dimana konten game yang disediakan memiliki jalan cerita yang menarik yang membahas tentang menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. -------- Video games are technically a product built by a series of logics that can be used as a medium of education, simulation and entertainment. The development of games today gives birth to a number of game genres that attract players. Games have the potential to affect player morality in the short term so that games can be used as a medium for delivering moral messages. At this time public awareness about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness is still lacking. Based on these problems, a media is needed that educates the public regarding environmental awareness. The media offered in this study is a game that can provide education to users related to environmental cleanliness using the MDA framework model. This framework is used in the game design process which is divided into three parts, namely Mechanic, Dynamic and Aesthetic.The game development process in this study applies an iterative model with rapid prototyping which has a design and implementation phase. The game developed was tested using a game experience questionnaire by getting the highest score in the flow aspect with a percentage of 88% and the smallest value in the negative affect aspect of 5%. Zero Blade Rising game can change the player's morality for a moment, this is evidenced by the high value of sensory and imaginative immersion aspects of 76% where the game content provided has an interesting storyline that discusses maintaining the cleanliness of the environment.
