Abstract
ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa berdasarkan self-efficacy dan gender. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMA di Kota Bandung dengan menggunakan subjek 6 orang siswa kelas X. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes berupa soal berpikir kritis dan instrumen non tes berupa angket self-efficacy dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa siswa dengan self-efficacy tinggi memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang tinggi karena mampu memenuhi keempat indikator berpikir kritis dengan keyakinan yang kuat pada 3 dimensi self-efficacy. Siswa dengan self-efficacy sedang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang masih kurang karena belum mampu memenuhi keempat indikator berpikir kritis dengan keyakinan yang kurang kuat pada 3 dimensi self-efficacy. Siswa dengan self-efficacy rendah memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang rendah pula karena tidak dapat memenuhi keempat indikator berpikir kritis dengan keyakinan yang tidak kuat pada 3 dimensi self-efficacy. kategori kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa laki-laki dan perempuan berada pada tingkat yang rendah, namun siswa perempuan memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis lebih baik daripada siswa laki-laki. Siswa laki-laki dan perempuan dengan self-efficacy tinggi memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang tinggi. Siswa laki-laki dan perempuan dengan self-efficacy sedang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang masih rendah. Sedangkan siswa laki-laki dan perempuan dengan self-efficacy yang rendah memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang rendah pula. This research using a qualitative approach with a Phenomenological design. This research was conducted at a high school in the city of Bandung using 6 class X students as subjects. The data collection technique in this study used test instruments in the form of critical thinking questions and non-test instruments in the form of self-efficacy questionnaires and interviews. Based on the results of the study it was found that students with high self-efficacy have high mathematical critical thinking skills because they are able to fulfill the four indicators of critical thinking with a strong belief in the 3 dimensions of self-efficacy. Students with moderate self-efficacy have poor mathematical critical thinking skills because they have not been able to fulfill the four indicators of critical thinking with less strong belief in the 3 dimensions of self-efficacy. Students with low self-efficacy also have low mathematical critical thinking skills because they cannot fulfill the four indicators of critical thinking with a weak belief in the 3 dimensions of self-efficacy. the category of mathematical critical thinking abilities of male and female students is at a low level, but female students have better mathematical critical thinking abilities than male students. Male and female students with high self-efficacy have high mathematical critical thinking abilities. Male and female students with moderate self-efficacy have low mathematical critical thinking skills.
