Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan pengucapan bahasa inggris AUD melalui permainan whisper challenge mengenalkan sedini mungkin bahasa inggris kepada anak-anak adalah hal yang positif. Berdasarkan hasil observasi terdapat hambatan yang dialami sekolah saat belajar bahasa Inggris. Hambatan tersebut yaitu kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik. Melihat permasalah tersebut penulis melakukan penelitian mengenai “Mengembangkan Kemampuan Pengucapan Bahasa Inggris AUD Melalui Permainan Whisper Challenge”. Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Sampel yang digunakan yaitu 12 subjek penelitian. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian diketahui kurangnya minat belajar bahasa Inggris anak, karena menggunakan media sehingga anak mudah bosan saat pembelajaran berlangsung dan masih belum bisa konsentrasi. ----- This study aims to develop AUD’s English pronunciation skills through the whisper challenge game, introducing English as early as possible to children is a positive thing. Based on the results of observations, there are obstacles experienced by schools when learning English. The obstacle is the lack use of interesting, learning media. Seeing this problem, the author conducted a research on “Developing AUD English Pronunciation Skills Through the Whisper Challenge Game’. The research method that will be used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The sample use is 12 reseaech subjects. The sampel collection techniques used are interviews,observations, tests and documentation. Based on the research sampel, tests and documentation. Based on the research data, it is known that children’s lack of interest in learning English is due to using media so that children get bored easily during learning and still cannot concentrate.
