Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Kebutuhan Guru Sekolah Dasar Berdasarkan Proyeksi Pertumbuhan Penduduk Usia Sekolah Di Kecamatan Sukajadi Kota Bandung Tahun 2022-2025. Kenaikan dan Penurunan jumlah penduduk akan memberikan dampak pada kebutuhan pendidikan dan salah satunya adalah kebutuhan akan pendidik. Perencanaan kebutuhan guru menjadi hal yang sangat penting untuk dilakukan karena profesi guru dibatasi oleh masa tugas. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena kurang optimalnya pemerataan sebaran jumlah guru sekolah dasar yang berdampak pada tidak efektif dan efisiennya penyelenggaraan proses belajar mengajar di sekolah serta berdampak pada tidak tercapainya Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jumlah ketersediaan guru Sekolah Dasar yang dibutuhkan dengan pendekatan social demand di Kecamatan Sukajadi Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan perhitungan proyeksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer dan sekunder melalui studi dokumentasi dan wawancara. Data yang digunakan adalah data penduduk, peserta didik, guru dan rombel. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Mathematical Equations Approach dan metode Sprague Multiplier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kecamatan Sukajadi Bandung masih mengalami kekurangan guru yang mana apabila perhitungan berdasarkan SNP maka Kecamatan Sukajadi Bandung pada tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 membutuhkan 21 guru. Sedangkan jika pehitungan berdasarkan jumlah rombel yang ada dilapangan tanpa mempertimbangkan jumlah siswa dalam satu kelas maka Kecamatan Sukajadi Bandung membutuhkan 51 guru. Rekomendari dari penelitian ini diharapkan Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung dapat meninjau kembali keadaan guru baik dari segi kuantitas maupun kualitas serta membuat kebijakan mengenai mutasi guru. Kata Kunci: Kebutuhan Guru, Proyeksi, Sekolah Dasar, Social Demand This title of research is the “Analysis of Elementary School Teacher Needs Based on Projected School Age Population Growth in Sukajadi District in 2022-2025”. The increase and decrease in population will have an impact on the need for education and one of them is the need for teachers. Planning for teacher needs is a very important thing to do because the teaching profession is limited by the period of duty. The background of this research is that the distribution of total number of primary school teachers is less than optimal which has an impact on the ineffective and inefficient implementation of the teaching and learning process in schools and has an impact on not achieving the National Education Standards (SNP). The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of availability of elementary school teachers needed with a social demand in Sukajadi District, Bandung. This is qualitative research using a descriptive method with projection calculations. Data collection techniques used primary and secondary data through documentation studies and interviews. The data used are population data, students, teachers and groups. The data analysis technique used the Mathematical Equations Approach and the Sprague Multiplier. The results of the study indicate that Sukajadi Bandung District is still experiencing shortages of teachers which if the calculation is based on the SNP then Sukajadi Bandung District in the 2022/2023 school year requires 21 teachers. Meanwhile, if the calculation is based on the number of groups in the field without considering the number of students in one class, Sukajadi Bandung District needs 51 teachers. Recommendations from this study are expected that the Bandung City Education Office can review the condition of teachers both in terms of quantity and quality and make policies regarding teacher transfers.
