Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tabungan nasional Indonesia yang masih rendah jika dibandingkan beberapa negara di Asia Tenggara, terkhusus pada negara maju. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat inflasi terhadap tabungan nasional di Indonesia pada periode 1980-2020. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Negara Indonesia. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah tingkat inflasi dan tabungan nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder tingkat inflasi dan tabungan nasional di Indonesia periode 1980-2020. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data time series dengan model regresi sederhana OLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel tingkat inflasi berpengaruh negatif terhadap tabungan nasional di Indonesia. Kata Kunci : inflasi, tabungan nasional ABSTRACT This research is motivated by Indonesia's national savings which are still low when compared to several countries in Southeast Asia, especially in developed countries. This study aims to determine the effect of the inflation rate on national savings in Indonesia in the period 1980-2020. The subject in this study is the State of Indonesia. The object of this research is the rate of inflation and national savings. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data in this study uses secondary data on the inflation rate and national savings in Indonesia for the period 1980-2020. The data analysis technique uses time series data analysis with a simple OLS regression model. The results showed that the inflation rate variable had a negative effect on national saving in Indonesia. Keywords: inflation, national saving
