Abstract

Dalam meningkatkan pemahaman materi mitigasi bencana membutuhkan media yang mampu memberikan pemahaman secara tuntas kepada peserta didik. Pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menjadi salah satu metode belajar serta dapat menigkatkan kualitas pembelajaran geografi. Multimedia interaktif berbasis lectora inspire merupakan aplikasi mengembangkan konten e-learning dan membuat multimedia pembelajaran interaktif yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk menyalurkan pesan (pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap) serta dapat merangsang pilihan, perasaan, perhatian dan kemauan belajar peserta didik sehingga proses pembelajaran terjadi, bertujuan dan terkendali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan serta menguji kelayakan multimedia interaktif berbasis lectora inspire pada materi mitigasi bencana sebagai media pembelajaran geografi; (2) mengetahui perbedaan hasil pemahaman materi mitgasi bencana peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media lectora inspire; (3) mengetahui perbedaan hasil pemahaman materi mitgasi bencana peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media audio visual; (4) mengetahui efektivitas media lectora inspire yang dikembangkan terhadap peningkatan hasil pemahaman materi peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitan dan pengembangan yang terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu : analisis kebutuhan, perancangan model multimedia, pengembangn media dan evaluasi multimedia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) multimedia interaktif berbasis lectora inspire pada materi mitigasi bencana layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran geografi dengan kategori sangat baik; (2) terdapat perbedaan signifikan pemahaman materi mitgasi bencana peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media lectora inspire; (3) terdapat perbedaan signifikan pemahaman materi mitigasi bencana peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media audio visual;(4) terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara rata-rata skor N- gain hasil pemahaman kelompok multimedia interaktif berbasis lectora inspire dan (5) rata-rata skor N-gain hasil pemahaman kelompok media audio visual p < 0,05 sehingga dinyatakan multimedia interaktif berbasis lectora inspire lebih efektif meningkatkan hasil pemahaman materi mitigasi bencana peserta didik dibandingkan dengan media audio visual. Dalam kasus penelitian ini, multimedia interaktif efektif meningkatkan pemahaman materi mitigasi bencana dibandingkan dengan media audio visual. Hal ini disebabkan oleh karakteristik media ini yang berorientasi ke peserta didik dan proses pembelajaran yang menggunakan komputer mampu mengakomodasi peserta didik untuk belajar secara mandiri sampai tuntas serta dapat menjadi solusi pembelajaran pada era digital. Information and communication technology-based learning is one of the learning methods and can improve the quality of geography learning. Interactive multimedia besed lectora inspire is an application to develop e-learning content and create interactive learning multimedia that is used in the learning process to convey messages (knowledge, skill, attitude) and then can stimulate attention and motivation students. This study was conducted to: (1) develop and find out the feasibility of interactive multimedia based on Lectora inspire about disaster mitigation materials as a geography learning medium; (2) knowing the differences in the results of students' understanding of disaster mitigation materials before and after using lectora inspire; (3) knowing the difference in the results of understanding the disaster mitigation material of students before and after using audio-visual media; (4) determine the effectiveness of the Lectora inspire media that was developed to improve the results of students understanding of the material. This study uses a research and development method consisting of four stages, namely: needs analysis, multimedia model design, media development and multimedia evaluation. The results of the study show that (1) interactive multimedia based on Lectora inspire on disaster mitigation materials is suitable for use as a geography learning medium with a very good category; (2) there are significant differences in the results of students' understanding of disaster mitigation materials before and after using Lectora inspire; (3) there is a significant difference in the results of students' understanding of disaster mitigation material before and after using audio- visual media; (4) there is a significant difference between the average N-gain scores on the understanding of the interactive multimedia group based on lectora inspire and (5) the average N-gain score from the understanding of the audio-visual media group, p<0.05, so that it is stated that interactive multimedia based on Lectora inspire is more effective in improving students' understanding of disaster mitigation material compared to audio-visual media. In the case of this study, interactive multimedia based on lectora inspire more effect on improving understanding of disaster mitigation than the audio-visual media. This is due to the characteristics of media that are oriented to students and the learning process that uses computers is able to accommodate students to study independently to completion and can be a learning solution in the digital era.
