Abstract

Pengelolaan sekolah hakikatnya mengembangkan seluruh potensi peserta didik agar tumbuh dan berkembang secara terpadu, serasi, seimbang menuju tingkat kematangan yang sempurna. Kualitas pengelolaan sekolah sangat penting bagi kemajuan sebuah bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan, pertama untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis temuan sistem tata kelola sekolah yang berjalan, kedua mengembangkan sistem digitalisasi pengelolaan sekolah mencakup unsur kurikulum, peserta didik, pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, sarana prasarana, dan evaluasi pembelajaran, dan ketiga menerapkan pengembangan sistem digitalisasi pengelolaan sekolah di SD, SMP dan SMA El Fitra di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development dengan menggunakan desain ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) yang disederhanakan menjadi tiga tahapan yaitu temuan dan pembahasan, pengembangan dan implementasi. Data dari penelitian ini berupa dokumen, observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner terhadap stakeholder diantaranya pengurus yayasan, kepala sekolah, Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan, dan orangtua/peserta didik. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan, peneliti menemukan, pertama pengelolaan SD, SMP dan SMA El Fitra masih dilakukan manual dan adanya permasalahan mendasar dalam hal menghimpun, menyimpan, mengolah dan memproduksi data, kedua, penelitian ini menghasilkan pengembangan sistem untuk SD, SMP dan SMA dan aplikasi yang digunakan sebagai penopang sistem adalah SMSBK (Sistem Manajemen Sekolah Berbasis Keunggulan) yang secara filosofis mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pengelolaan sekolah efektif dan efisien, dan ketiga penelitian ini sudah diuji coba sebanyak 3 tahap, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sistem digitalisasi meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan sekolah SD, SMP dan SMA El Fitra dengan dukungan infrastruktur, pembiayaan yang memadai, dan aplikasi SMSBK yang user friendly serta peran manajemen dan leadership diarahkan untuk mewujudkan sistem digitalisasi pengelolaan sekolah. Kata kunci: Sistem Digitalisasi, Pengelolaan Sekolah, SMSBK ABSTRACT DIGITALIZATION OF SCHOOL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (A Study on the Development and Implementation of Digitalized Management System at El Fitra Private Elementary School, Junior High School, and Senior High School of Bandung) School management is essentially an effort to develop the entire potential of students so that they can grow and develop integratedly, harmoniously, and in balance into a perfect degree of maturity. Quality of school management is very important for the advancement of a nation. This research is aimed at describing and analyzing findings in the existing school governance system; it also aims at developing a digitalized school management system that include the elements of curriculum, students, educators and educational staff, facilities and infrastructure, and learning evaluation and applying the digitalized school management system that has been developed to El Fitra Elementary School, Junior High School, and Senior High School of Bandung. This research was conducted using ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) design of research and development method that was simplified into three stages, namely the findings and discussion, the development, and the implementation. Data for this research were collected from documents, observations, interviews, and questionnaires given to stakeholders, which include foundation’s managers, the principals, teachers and educational staff, and parents/students. The research found that the management of El Fitra Elementary School, Junior High School, and Senior High School was still conducted manually and that there was fundamental problems in collecting, storing, processing and producing data. This research also developed and produced a system for elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school management that is supported by Excellence-Based School Management System (Sistem Manajemen Sekolah Berbasis Keunggulan or SMSBK) application which, philosophically, is able to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the school’s management. The system was tested in three stages and the results show that the digitized system improved the efficiency of the management of El Fitra Elementary School, Junior High School, and Senior High School. With the support of infrastructure, adequate fundings, user-friendly SMBK application, and the management and leadership, the digitalized school management system was successfully implemented.
