Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 yang masuk ke indonesia awal bulan maret 2020. Hal ini menjadi semua aktivitas terbatasi, termasuk pada sektor pendidikan. Pendidikan yang awalnya dilakukan secara tatap muka kini berganti dengan pembelajaran daring. Hal ini dirasakan oleh salah satu siswa SLB ABC Miirojutaqwa, AF namanya. AF yang memiliki hobi memasak dan pernah bekerja di home industri pisang aroma Kencana mukti, kini tidak lagi mengembangkan potensi dan bakatnya. Ini menjadi tugas orangtua untuk mampu menjadi wadah dalam pengembangan potensi dan bakat anak. Apalagi dengan latar belakang orangtua yang berdagang dan memiliki kios. Peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian terhadap keterampilan vokasional pembuatan pisang aroma bersumber daya keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengambarkan keterampilan vokasional bersumber daya keluarga dalam pembuatan pisang aroma. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah AF dan orangtua AF yang bertempat di Parugpug Kecamatan Paseh Kabupaten Sumedang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kondisi keterampilan pembuatan pisang aroma yang dimiliki AF cukup baik. AF memiliki kemampuan dalam pembuatan pisang aroma hingga pengemasan. Profil pendampingan orangtua dalam pembelajaran di rumah juga sudah cukup baik. Namun AF memiliki hambatan dalam penggorengan dan pemasaran. Hal ini menjadi dasar dalam rancangan program. Rancangan program dirancang dengan teknik patnership dengan tiga kali pertemuan, satu kali pertemuan dilakukan oleh peneli kepada orangtua dan pertemuan selanjutnya orangtua mengajarkan program kepada anak. Peluang pemasaran pisang aroma di lingkungan sekitar sangat baik, hal ini berdampak pada keuntungan penjualan. Keterlaksanaan program keterampilan vokasional berjalan dengan baik, orangtua dan anak membuat pisang aroma dan memasarkannya di kios. Kata Kunci: Bersumber daya keluarga, keterampilan vokasional, pembuatan pisang aroma ABSTRACT FAMILY BASED VOCATIONAL SKILLS FOR A MIDDLE INTELLIGENCE CHILD IN MAKING FRIED BANANA ROLLS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC BY DEWI NURMALASARI (1706275) The COVID-19 pandemic that entered Indonesia in early March 2020 made all activities limited, including the education sector. Education that was initially carried out face-to-face has now been replaced with online learning. This was also experienced by one of the students of SLB ABC Miirojuttaqwa, AF. AF, whose hobby is cooking and previously had worked in a home industry of banana roll making (Kencana Mukti), could no longer develop his potential and talents. It was the duty of his parents to be able to become a forum for developing their child’s potential and talents. Moreover, his parents are traders and own a kiosk. Researcher was interested in conducting a study on vocational skills in making fried banana rolls from family resources. This study aimed at describing vocational skills based on family resources in making fried banana rolls. The approach used in this research was qualitative research with descriptive method. The subjects of this study were AF and his parents who lived in Parugpug, Paseh District, Sumedang Regency. The results of this study showed that AF's skill in making fried banana rolls was quite good. AF had the ability to make fried banana rolls up to the packaging process. The profile of parental assistance in learning at home was also quite good. But AF had difficulties in frying and marketing process. The situation was the basis for the program design. The program was designed by using a partnership technique within three meetings. The first meeting was conducted by the researcher to the parents. The next two meetings were the parents turn to teach the program to the child. The marketing opportunities for fried banana rolls in the surrounding area were very good which in turn had a good impact on sales profits. The implementation of the vocational skills program went well, the parents and their child made fried banana rolls and marketed them in their own kiosks.
