Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena semangat entrepreneurship dan kreativitas mahasiswa dalam memenuhi kebutuhannya secara mandiri pada masa pandemi Covid-19. PKn merupakan pendidikan multidisiplin yang tersusun dari beberapa pengetahuan diantaranya politik, hukum, ekonomi, nilai, moral dan karakter. Dalam PKn terintegrasi nilai-nilai entrepreneurship dan terdapat kajian economic civic tentang hak-hak warga negara dalam memenuhi kebutuhannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran PKn dalam membentuk jiwa entrepreneurship mahasiswa pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di Fakultas Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia dengan narasumber mahasiswa dan dosen. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan teknik triangulasi. Data dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data serta kesimpulan. Temuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Faktor-faktor pendorong mahasiswa berwirausaha pada masa pandemi Covid-19 yaitu faktor internal (adanya minat, motivasi dan tujuan) dan faktor eksternal (adanya peluang, dukungan dari keluarga, lingkungan dan masyarakat). 2) Peran PKn dalam membentuk jiwa entrepreneurship mahasiswa pada masa pandemi Covid-19 yaitu melalui nilai-nilai entrepreneurship yang terintegrasi dalam PKn memberi semangat berwirausaha pada mahasiswa sebagai wujud ekonomi kewarganegaraan. 3) Kendala yang dihadapi PKn dalam membentuk jiwa entrepreneurship mahasiswa pada masa pandemi Covid-19 yaitu ketika kajian pendidikan nilai, karakter dan economic civic dalam PKn hanya sebatas teori saja. 4) Upaya dalam PKn untuk membentuk jiwa entrepreneurship mahasiswa pada masa pandemi Covid-19 yaitu PKn di perguruan tinggi terus memupuk nilai, karakter dan sikap mahasiswa sesuai dengan kurikulum PKn dan kebutuhan daya kritis mahasiswa pada masa pandemi Covid-19. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the entrepreneurial spirit and creativity of students in meeting their needs independently during the Covid-19 pandemic. Civics is a multidisciplinary education composed of several knowledges including politics, law, economics, values, morals and character. In Civics, entrepreneurship values are integrated and there is an economic civic study on the rights of citizens in meeting their needs. This study aims to describe the role of Civics in shaping the entrepreneurial spirit of students during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method which was carried out at the Faculty of Social Science Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia with students and lecturers as resource persons. This research data collection through observation, interviews and documentation with triangulation techniques. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The findings in this study are: 1) The driving factors for student entrepreneurship during the Covid-19 pandemic are internal factors (there are interests, motivations and goals) and external factors (there are opportunities, support from family, environment and society). 2) The role of Civics in shaping the entrepreneurial spirit of students during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely through entrepreneurship values integrated in Civics, giving students the spirit of entrepreneurship as a form of citizenship economy. 3) Obstacles faced by Civics in shaping the entrepreneurial spirit of students during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely when the study of value, character and economic civic education in Civics was only limited to theory. 4) Efforts in Civics to shape the entrepreneurial spirit of students during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely Civics in universities continue to foster student values, character and attitudes in accordance with the Civics curriculum and the critical power needs of students during the Covid-19 pandemic.
