Abstract
ABSTRAK
Penelitian “Kreasi Musik dan Lagu Dalam Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Band di SMK Muhmmadiyah 2 Kadungora” bertujuan untuk memaparkan kreativitas siswa dibidang musik dalam bentuk sebuah lagu. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler musik di sekolah mengarahkan siswa untuk memiliki jiwa kreativitas yang tinggi serta sebagai wadah untuk mengekspresikan diri melalui musik, salah satu contohnya adalah ekstrakurikuler band di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Kadungora. Berdasarkan pokok permasalahan yang dikaji, metode penelitian yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisa dengan tahapan: data direduksi, kemudian data disajikan dan dikumpulkan untuk diolah, selanjutnya ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tahapan-tahapan dalam kreasi musik dan lagu melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler band di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Kadungora terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu tahap mengamati, tahap eksplorasi, dan tahap analisis. Sedangkan proses kreasi musik dan lagu yang dilakukan diantaranya yaitu kemampuan siswa membuat tema lagu, lirik lagu, rangkaian melodi, chord, aransemen, serta struktur dalam lagu yang siswa ciptakan dengan judul terimakasih guruku.

ABSTRACT
The study of "Music and Song Creation in Extracurricular Band Activities at SMK Muhmmadiyah 2 Kadungora" aims to describe the creativity of students in the music field in the form of a song. Activities music extracurricular activities in schools direct students to have a soul high creativity as well as a place to express oneself through music, one example is the extracurricular band at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Kadungora. Based on the main problems studied, the research method chosen in this research is descriptive qualitative. Collection technique The data used are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The collected data are analyzed in stages: the data is reduced, then the data is presented and collected for processing, then draw conclusions. The result of This research shows that the stages in music and song creation through the extracurricular activities of the band at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Kadungora consisting of three stages, namely the observation stage, the exploration stage, and the analysis stage. Meanwhile, the music and song creation processes include the ability of students to make song themes, song lyrics, melody series, chords, arrangements, and structures in the songs that students created with the title “Thank you, my teacher”.
