Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa, terutama dalam pembelajaran IPA pada materi struktur panca indera. Saat pembelajaran dilaksanakan siswa merasa sulit memahami konsep yang sedang dipelajari, sehingga siswa selalu ribut, kurang memperhatikan guru, dan tidak mau mengemukakan pendapatnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas IV tentang panca indera. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan langkah-langkah penelitian sebagai berikut, identifikasi permasalahan, observasi lapangan, observasi tindakan dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi lembar observasi, lembar catatan lapangan, lembar evaluasi, Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dan lembar wawancara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Cicatang Kecamatan Cibinong Kabupaten Cianjur. Subyek penelitian merupakan siswa kelas IV dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 22 orang, terdiri dari laki-laki 12 orang dan perempuan 10 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa. Pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran siswa aktif mengemukakan pendapat, antusias dan senang mengikuti pembelajaran. Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata nilai sebesar 62,5, pada siklus II sebesar 70, pada siklus III sebesar 77. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan penerapan metode inkuiri dalam pembelajaran IPA tentang struktur panca indera dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. ABSTRACT This study concerns the low background by learning outcomes of students, especially in science learning in the material structure of the five senses. When implemented learning students find it difficult to understand the concepts being studied, so that students are always noisier, less attention to the teacher, and did not want his opinion. The purpose of this study was to determine how the planning, implementation and student learning outcomes by using the method of inquiry in science learning in class IV sensory neighbor. The method used in this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the steps following research, problem identification, field observation, observation, action and reflection. Data collection techniques used in this study include observation sheets, field notes sheets, evaluation sheets, Student Worksheet (BLM) and the questionnaire. This research was conducted at the SDN Cicatang Cibinong District Cianjur. The research subjects are fourth grade students by the number of students by 22 people, consisting of men 12 and women 10. The results showed an increase in the implementation of learning and student learning outcomes. On the implementation of active student learning of expression, enthusiastic and enjoy participating in learning. Student learning outcomes have increased in the first cycle obtained an average value of 62.5, on the second cycle of 70, on the third cycle of 77. It can be concluded the application of the method of inquiry in science learning about the structure of the five senses can improve student learning outcomes.
