Abstract
Mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknologi Agroindustri seringkali memiliki kesulitan dalam mengetahui langkah-langkah mengoperasikan alat laboratorium. Kesulitan mahasiswa dalam mengetahui langkah mengoperasikan alat spektrofotometer, sentrifus dan mikroskop dapat diatasi dengan membuat suatu media sebagai sarana mahasiswa untuk dapat mengetahui langkah - langkah alat tersebut, juga dapat digunakan sebagai penunjang praktikum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahapan pembuatan video tutorial penggunaan alat spektrofotometer, sentrifus dan mikroskop menggunakan application builder appy pie. Pengembangan video tutorial ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Tahapan penelitian meliputi identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, pengembangan produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba skala terbatas, revisi produk ke-I, uji coba skala luas, revisi produk ke-II, dan menghasilkan produk akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi ahli terhadap video tutorial penggunaan alat spektrofotometer, sentrifus dan mikroskop dengan penggunaan application builder appy pie pada aspek kualitas media, kualitas materi dan kemanfaatan materi adalah sangat layak digunakan sebagai media penunjang praktikum. Hasil penilaian mahasiswa pada uji coba skala terbatas dan uji coba skala luas pada aspek tampilan, aspek kemudahan memahami dan aspek kemanfaatan adalah sangat layak digunakan sebagai media penunjang praktikum; Agroindustry Technology Education students often have difficulties to know the steps of operating laboratory equipment. Student difficulties in knowing the steps of operating a spectrophotometer, centrifuge and microscope can be overcome by making a media as a means for students to be able to know the steps of utilizing the tools, also can be used as a support for the laboratory. This study aims to know the steps of creatinbg video tutorials of spectrophotometer, centrifuge, and microscope using the application builder Appy Pie. The developing of this video tutorial uses R&D methods (Reseach and Development). Stages of research includes identification of potential and problems, data collection, product development, design validation, design revision, limited scale trials, first product revisions, wide scale trials, second product revisions, and final products. The results showed that expert judgment on video tutorials using spectrophotometer, centrifuge and microscope with the use of Appy Pie application builder on aspects of media quality, material quality and material usefulness were very feasible to use as a supporting media for laboratory work. The results of student evaluations on limited scale trials and wide scale trials to the aspect of appearance, aspects of ease of understanding and aspects of benefit are worthy of being used as supporting media for practicum.
