Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari hasil pengamatan Penulis pada saat PPL terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas yang cenderung monoton dan kurang bervariatif sehingga pemahaman siswa akan materi tersebut menjadi berkurang dan berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa yang masih rendah yang dibuktikan dengan 50% dari total siswa 44 orang yang nilainya memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) yaitu 75. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan tiga siklus. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X ATPH SMK Negeri 1 Cikalongkulon tahun ajaran 2012/2013 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 45 orang yang dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini dibagi kedalam delapan kelompok, setiap kelompok terdiri dari empat sampai enam orang siswa yang berkemampuan rendah, sedang dan tinggi. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievment Divisions (STAD), teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tes dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dari siklus pertama sampai pada siklus ketiga mengalami peningkatan, pada siklus pertama diperoleh nilai 40,94, siklus kedua 69,91 dan siklus ketiga 74,03. Sedangkan jumlah siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM juga mengalami peningkatan mulai dari siklus kedua 42,86% dan siklus ketiga 45,71%. Nilai N-Gain mengalami peningkatan dari siklus pertama sebesar 0,24 dengan kategori rendah menjadi 0,61 pada siklus kedua dengan kategori sedang, namun pada siklus ketiga mengalami penurunan menjadi 0,56 walaupun masih dalam kategori sedang karena perolehan nilai post test pada siklus ketiga ini cenderung sudah tinggi. Dari hasil observasi keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran mengalami kenaikan dari siklus pertama sebesar 73,61%, siklus kedua 94,44% dan siklus ketiga 98,61%, sedangkan observasi aktivitas siswa yang relevan dengan kegiatan pembelajaran mengalami kenaikan dari siklus ke siklusnya, pada siklus ketiga diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 70,7% dan observasi aktivitas siswa yang tidak relevan dengan proses pembelajaran mengalami penurunan, pada siklus ketiga sebesar 8,43%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada kompetensi dasar menyiapkan benih di kelas X ATPH SMK Negeri 1 Cikalongkulon – Jawa Barat. The research method used in this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with three cycles. Objects in this study were students of class X ATPH SMK Negeri 1 Cikalongkulon academic year 2012/2013 the number of students by 45 people in the implementation of this study were divided into eight groups, each group consisting of four to six students who are capable of low, medium and high. Learning model used is a type of cooperative learning Achievment Student Teams Divisions (STAD), data collection techniques in this study was done with the tests and observations. The results showed that the average value of student learning outcomes from the first cycle to the third cycle has increased, the obtained value of 40.94 first cycle, second cycle and third cycle 74.03 69.91. While the number of students who achieve KKM value also increased from 42.86% the second cycle and third cycle of 45.71%. N-Gain value increased from the first cycle of 0.24 to 0.61 with a lower category in the second cycle to the middle category, but on the third cycle decreased to 0.56, although still in the moderate category for post test grades on the third cycle these tend to be high. From the observation keterlaksanaan learning process has increased from 73.61% at the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle 94.44% 98.61%, while the observation of student activities that are relevant to the learning activity increased from cycle to cycle, the third cycle obtained an average value of 70.7% and observation of student activities that are not relevant to the learning process of decline, the third cycle of 8.43%. It can be concluded that the results of student learning can be enhanced through the implementation of cooperative learning model type STAD on basic competency in the classroom setting seed X ATPH SMK Negeri 1 Cikalongkulon -West Java.
