Abstract

Dewasa ini, semakin banyak timbul perubahan sosial di berbagai kalangan kehidupan umat manusia dari segala segi kehidupan. Maka dari itu, PAI pun harus mampu mengikuti perubahan dan mensiasati perubahan tersebut serta memberi solusi bagi setiap permasalahan yang ada. Permasalahan yang banyak terjadi saat proses pembelajaran diantaranya adalah berkurangnya motivasi peserta didik untuk belajar. Hal seperti ini dipicu karena keadaan siswa yang merasa kegiatan belajar kurang menyenangkan dan kurang menarik. Maka dari itu, guru dituntut untuk dapat membuat strategi agar siswa dapat merasa nyaman ketika belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui problematika apa saja yang dialami oleh guru PAI SMPN 4 Bandung dalam pembelajaran, apa saja hal yang melatar belakangi permasalahan tersebut, serta bagaimana cara menanggulangi problematika yang dihadapi. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskripif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan beberapa kategori problematika yang dialami oleh para guru PAI di SMPN 4 Bandung, diantaranya peserta didik, metode pembelajaran, bahan ajar/sumber pembelajaran, kompetensi guru PAI, evaluasi dalam pembelajaran serta sarana dan prasarana di SMPN 4 Bandung. Salah satu faktor yang paling berpengaruh ialah kompetensi profesionalitas serta kompetensi pedagogik guru PAI yang kurang bisa menyiasati keadaan kelas. Selain itu, para Guru PAI dan pihak sekolah memiliki solusi dalam menghadapi problematika yang ada. Dintaranya ialah dengan melibatkan peran orangtua dalam mengawasi aktivitas anak, mengikuti kegiatan-kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan pengalaman guru dan lain sebagainya. Today, there are more social changes arise in various circles and aspects of human life. Therefore, PAI should be able to follow changes and to anticipate these changes and also provide solutions to any existing problems. Many problems that occur during learning process which is decreased student’s motivation to learn. This is triggering by the situation of student who feel learning is unpleasant and less attractive. Therefore, teacher is required to be able to make strategies in order to make students comfortable when learning process. This study is aiming to determine problems that experienced by teachers at PAI 4 SMP Bandung in learning, background of these problems, and how to overcome the problems encountered. The researcher used descriptive qualitative research methods. Based on the results of the study, it was found several categories of problems experienced by PAI teachers at SMPN 4 Bandung, those are students, learning methods, teaching materials/learning resources, PAI teacher’s competencies, evaluation in learning, facilities and infrastructure at SMPN 4 Bandung. One of the most influential factor is professional and pedagogical competence of PAI teachers who less able to deal with class condition. In addition, PAI Teachers and the school have solution to deal with existing problems which are involving the role of parents in monitoring children's activities, following activities that can improve teacher’s experience and so on.
