Abstract

Perkembangan wisata yang ada di kota Bandung membawa wisatawan untuk datang dari luar maupun dalam negeri, serta adanya kemajuan zaman dan perkembangan teknologi mendorong laju peningkatan penduduk yang hanya ingin singgah sementara untuk menikmati keindahan kota Bandung ini. Untuk itu dengan kebutuhan hidup manusia yang semakin beragam saat ini, menuntut adanya penyediaan fasilitas hunian yang bersifat sementara di kota Bandung yaitu hunian berupa hotel, hotel sendiri lebih difungsikan untuk memfasilitasi wisatawan yang sedang berkunjung ke Kota Bandung. dan sebuah pusat perbelanjaan sebagai pelengkapnya. Salah satu fasilitas pusat perbelanjaan yang memberikan kemudahan dan kenyamanan, diantaranya berupa Mall. Berkembang pesatnya laju pertumbuhan ekonomi kota Bandung ini berpengaruh besar untuk daerah Cibaduyut, sehingga mall dan hotel ini memang tepat dan agar dapat mengakomodasi jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung di kawasan Cibaduyut. Tema yang akan dihadirkan dalam Mall dan Hotel ini adalah arsitektur tropis. Arsitektur tropis adalah suatu konsep desain yang beradaptasi pada lingkungan tropis akan tetapi tidak melupakan estetika hanya di sini yang paling utama adalah sebuah respon positif dan efek iklim itu sendiri. Pembangunan Bangunan Mall dan Hotel menggunakan tema arsitektur tropis karena pentingnya kenyamanan pengunjung mall maupun tamu hotel jangka waktu singkat atau lama, agar bisa berkunjung dengan nyaman. Arsitektur tropis adalah jawaban atas kondisi lingkungan di daerah tropis,merupakan karya arsitektur yang mencoba memecahkan problematik iklim tropis. Konsep dasar arsitektur tropis, pada dasarnya adalah adaptasi bangunan terhadap iklim tropis. ;---The development of tourism in the city of Bandung brings tourists to come from outside and inside the country, as well as the progress of the times and technological developments encourage the rate of increase in population who only want to stop by temporarily to enjoy the beauty of the city of Bandung. For this reason, with the increasingly diverse needs of human life at this time, demanding the provision of temporary residential facilities in the city of Bandung, namely occupancy in the form of hotels, the hotel itself is more functioned to facilitate tourists visiting the city of Bandung. and a shopping center as a complement. One of the shopping center facilities that provide convenience and comfort, including the Mall. The rapid growth of the economic growth rate of the city of Bandung has a big influence on the Cibaduyut area, so the mall and hotel are indeed right and can accommodate the number of tourists visiting the Cibaduyut area. The themes that will be presented in the Mall and Hotel are tropical architecture. Tropical architecture is a design concept that adapts to the tropical environment but does not forget aesthetics, only here is the main positive response and climate effect itself. The construction of Mall and Hotel Buildings uses the theme of tropical architecture because of the importance of the convenience of mall visitors and hotel guests for short or long periods of time, so they can visit comfortably. Tropical architecture is the answer to environmental conditions in the tropics, is an architectural work that tries to solve the problematic tropical climate. The basic concept of tropical architecture, basically is the adaptation of buildings to the tropical climate.
